18-36. Candidates born between 02.01.1985 and 01.01.2003 (both dates included) are eligible to apply. SC/ST and other backward communities are eligible for usual age relaxation. In any case, the maximum age limit shall not exceed 50 years.

Must have passed VHSE in Livestock Management conducted by the Directorate of Vocational Higher Secondary Education, Kerala.

1. Rule 10(a)(ii) of Part II KS& SSR is applicable. 2. Differently abled candidates are not eligible to apply for this post. 3. Candidates selected for this post will be appointed provisionally and will be regularized only after passing the 6-month Stockman/Livestock Inspector training course conducted by AH Department/KAU/KLDB. If they fail to pass the course in the first attempt, 3 more chances will be given. If they fail even in the 4th attempt, they will be discharged from service. Re-ranking will not be done based on marks obtained in the training. 4. Candidates claiming equivalent qualification should produce the Government Order proving the equivalency at the time of verification. 5. In case of any discrepancy in the caste recorded in the SSLC book, candidates must claim the correct caste in the application and produce the caste certificate/non-creamy layer certificate and relevant gazette notification at the time of verification. 6. Candidates who make false claims regarding education, experience, etc., and fail to appear for the examination after giving confirmation will be subject to appropriate disciplinary action as per Rule 22 of KPSC Rules of Procedure 1976. 7. Probation: The person appointed to this post shall be on probation for a period of two years on duty within a continuous period of three years from the date of joining.
