Age Limit
18-43. Candidates should have been born between 02.01.1979 and 01.01.2004 (both dates included) with usual age relaxation. (For other conditions regarding age limit, please see Part II, Para 2 of the General Conditions).
Qualifications
1) A Degree in Arabic conferred or recognized by the Universities in Kerala. OR A Title of Oriental Learning in Arabic awarded or recognized by the Universities in Kerala. OR Pre-Degree with Part III Arabic (Special Optional) of the University of Calicut. OR Plus Two Part III Arabic (Optional) course conducted by the Board of Higher Secondary Education, Kerala. OR SSLC Examination of the Kerala Board of Public Examinations with Arabic as First Language (First Language comprises Paper I and II) and passed. OR Pass in SSLC Examination equivalent or allied to SSLC Examination and possessing any of the following qualifications: i) Arabic Munshi Higher (Pass) ii) Arabic Munshi Lower (Pass) iii) Arabic Teachers Examination (Pass) iv) Examination in Arabic Entrance conducted by the Universities of Kerala or Calicut. Note: BA Arabic & Islamic History double main degree awarded or recognized by the Universities in Kerala is also considered as an eligible qualification as per GO(Rt)No.8/19/GEdn dated 14.01.2019. 2) Must have passed the Kerala Teacher Eligibility Test (K-TET-IV) for this post.
Notes
i) Candidates must submit applications through online method via the official website of the KPSC (www.keralapsc.gov.in). ii) Applications submitted by candidates belonging to communities other than those notified will be summarily rejected. iii) Separate Ranked Lists will be prepared for each district in pursuance of this notification. The Ranked List thus prepared and published by the Commission in response to this notification shall remain in force until candidates are advised and appointed against the vacancies earmarked for the above communities, due to the paucity of candidates during the currency of the Ranked List published for the districts. iv) Candidates shall submit application for the post to the district concerned and shall note the name of the district against the relevant column in the application. v) The selection in pursuance of this notification will be made on a district-wise basis, subject to the special conditions laid down in G.O (MS) No.154/71/PD dated 27.05.1971. vi) As per the provisions of ARD, five years service is not mandatory for inter-district transfer to Idukki, Kasaragod, and Wayanad districts.
