18-36; Candidates should be born between 02.01.1985 and 01.01.2003 (both dates included). Usual age relaxation will be given to SC/ST and Other Backward Communities.
Qualifications
Must possess a Degree in B.A/B.Sc/B.Com from a recognized University or equivalent qualification.
Notes
i) The Ranked List prepared in pursuance of this notification shall remain in force for a minimum period of one year and a maximum period of three years. If a new Ranked List is published after one year, the Ranked List prepared in pursuance of this notification will cease to be in force. Advice for appointment will be made from the Ranked List for vacancies reported by the respective Company/Corporation/Board during the period of currency of the Ranked List, subject to the existing reservation rules. Candidates will not have the right to choose any particular Company/Corporation/Board or scale of pay.
ii) The Kerala Public Service Commission has the right to cancel any advice for appointment to the above post if it is found to be incorrect later. If the advice is cancelled, the appointing authority shall terminate the service of the candidate. However, the termination of service shall be within the probation period or within 240 days of joining duty, whichever is earlier.
iii) As per GO(P)No.01/13/SJD dated 03.01.2013, 3% of vacancies are reserved for differently abled candidates (Locomotor disability/Cerebral Palsy, Hearing impairment, Low vision).
Note: (1) KS&SSR Part II Rule 10(a)(ii) is applicable.
(2) Candidates claiming equivalent qualification should produce the Government Order proving the equivalency at the time of verification.
(3) In case of difference in caste/community claimed in the application and that recorded in the SSLC book, the candidate must produce a Gazette notification regarding the change of name/caste along with the Non-Creamy Layer/Caste certificate at the time of document verification.
(4) Candidates who have submitted false claims regarding qualifications and have confirmed for the examination but failed to appear or attend will face disciplinary action as per Rule 22 of the KPSC Rules of Procedure 1976.
(5) The Ranked List published in pursuance of this notification will also be used for appointment to similar posts with similar scale of pay and qualifications in various Companies/Corporations/Boards/Local Bodies/Public Sector Undertakings not mentioned in this notification, as reported by them.
