Direct recruitment from among PH (Orthopaedic upper extremities (minor), lower extremities & Deaf ) by special recruitment.

1 Ortho upper (minor) & lower extremities: 19-46. Only candidates born between 02.01.1967 and 01.01.1994 (Both dates included). 2 Deaf: 19-50. Only candidates born between 02.01.1963 and 01.01.1994 (Both dates included).

1) National Trade Certificate in the Trade of Fitter. OR 2) Junior Technical School Leaving Certificate in the trade of Fitter. OR 3) Qualification in the Armed forces in the Trade of Fitter as given below. a) Army Trade: 1) Engine Fitter class II 2) Engine Fitter class I 3) Engine Artifiser class II 4) Engine Artifiser class I b) EME Army Trade 5) Fitter 6) Armourer class III 7) Armourer class II 8) Armourer class I c) Air Force Trade 9) Armourer II Fitter 10) Flight Mechanical Engineers Fitter 11) Flight Mechanical Air flame Fitter

Note:- 1) The number of candidates to be included in the short list/probability list of the above post will be decided as per the availability of admitted applications. 2) The Ranked list prepared in pursuance of this notification is intended to make recruitment to the Backlog vacancies earmarked for the various categories and PH groups as per GO(p)No.8/10/SWD dated.01.02.2010 and will remain in force for a maximum period of 3yrs subject to the condition that the Ranked list will cease to exist as and when candidate is advised and appointed against the above mentioned vacancy. Rules 14 to 17 of part II KS & SSR are not applicable to this selection. Candidate will be advised and appointed against the above mentioned vacancy and also against the Backlog vacancies if any, reported by the appointing authorities as earmarked in GO(p)No.8/10/SWD dated.01.02.2010. Selection to the above mentioned vacancies will be made from among the (orthopaedic -upper extremities (minor), lower extremities, Deaf) PH categories found suitable for the post as per existing Government Orders and vacancies will be apportioned among these categories in the ratio 1:1:1. If any of these categories are not eligible for the post the vacancies will be apportioned among the other categories. 3) The Kerala Public Service Commission shall have the power to cancel the advice for appointment of any candidate to the above post, if it is subsequently found that such advice was made under some mistake. On such cancellation the appointing authority shall terminate the service of the candidate, provided that, the cancellation of advice for appointment by the Commission and subsequent termination of service of the candidate by the appointing authority shall be made within the period of probation or 240 days from the date of joining duty whichever is earlier. Note:-1) Application submitted by candidate other than those belonging to PH (Ortho-upper extremities (minor) lower extremities, Deaf) category will be rejected. Individual rejection memo will not be sent to them. Mode of submitting applications :- Candidates shall register as per 'ONE TIME REGISTRATION ' on the Official Website of Kerala Public Service Commission 'www.keralapsc.gov.in' for applying for the post. Candidates who have already registered shall apply by logging on to their profile using their User- ID and password. Candidates shall click on the 'Apply Now' button of the respective posts in the Notification link for applying for a post. No application fee is required. Candidates can view and have a print-out of the details in the profile by clicking the link Registration Card, if required. Candidates are responsible for the correctness of the personal information and secrecy of password. Candidates must ensure correctness of the information in their profile. They must quote the User-ID for further communication with the commission. Applications once submitted will be received as provisional and particulars shall not be deleted or altered after submission. Applications submitted not in accordance with the conditions of the notification will be summarily rejected. Documents to prove Qualification, community, age and disability certificate from the standing disability assessment board. etc. have to be produced as and when called for. As per para 7 of GO(p) No.7/11/SWD dated 24.01.11, appropriate adjustments will be made, if necessary, in the ratio among different categories, as and when the Government issues appropriate orders there to, inorder to recoup the paucity in the share due to Blind & Deaf categories during the period up to 2003. The selection to the above concern will be subject to the rules and regulations made by them from time to time.
