Orthopaedic Lower Extremities: 19-46. Only candidates born between 02.01.1967 and 01.01.1994.(Both dates included) Deaf: 19-50. Only candidates born between 02.01.1963 and 01.01.1994.(Both dates included)

1 A pass in SSLC or its equivalent qualification 2 Must possess the qualifications given under any of the following categories (ie I or II or III or IV) I 1. Surveying and levelling (higher) KGTE or MGTE AND 2. Any two of the following a) Building Drawing, Estimating (Lower) b) Building materials and constructions (lower) c) Earth work and Road making (Lower) d) Hydraulics and Irrigation(Lower) e)Mensuration(Lower) OR II 1. Surveying and Levelling (Higher) 2. Pass in plumber trade under the Craftsman Training Scheme. OR III Trade Certificate awarded by the Director General of Resettlement and Employment in the Surveyor Trade OR IV National Trade Certificate in Surveyor Trade.

(i) The number of candidates to be included in the short list/probability list of the above post will be decided as per the availability of admitted applications. (ii) The Ranked list prepared in the pursuance of this notification is intended to make recruitment to the backlog vacancies earmarked for the various categories and PH group as per GO(p) No.8/10/SWD dtd 01.02.10 and will remain in force for a maximum period of three years subject to the condition that the ranked list will cease to exist as and when candidates are advised and appointed against the above mentioned vacancy Rule 14 to 17 of Part II KS&SSR are not applicable to this selection. Candidates will be advised and appointed against the above mentioned vacancies and also against backlog vacancies, if any reported by appointing authorities as earmarked in GO(p) No.8/10/SWD dtd 01.02.10 Selection to the above mentioned vacancies will be made from the (Orthopaedic Lower Extremities& deaf) PH categories found suitable for the post as per existing Govt.Order and vacancies will be apportioned among these categories in the ratio of 1:1:1. If any of these categories are not eligible for a post the vacancies will be apportioned among the other category. (iii) The Kerala Public Service Commission shall have the power to cancel the advice for appointment of any candidate to the above post, if it is subsequently found that such advice was made under some mistake. On such cancellation the appointing authority shall terminate the service of the candidate, provided that, the cancellation of advice for appointment by the Commission and subsequent termination of service of the candidate by the appointing authority shall be made within the period of probation or 240 days from the date of joining duty whichever is earlier. Note:- Application submitted by candidates other than those belonging to PH (Orthopaedic Lower Extremities & Deaf)category will be rejected. Individual rejection memo will not be sent to them . 8. Mode of submitting applications:- Candidates shall register as per 'ONE TIME REGISTRATION ‘ on the Official Website of Kerala Public Service Commission 'www.keralapsc.gov.in' for applying for the post. Candidates who have already registered shall apply by logging on to their profile using their User- ID and password. Candidates shall click on the 'Apply Now' button of the respective posts in the Notification link for applying for a post. No application fee is required. Candidates can view and have a print-out of the details in the profile by clicking the link Registration Card, if required. Candidates are responsible for the correctness of the personal information and secrecy of password. Candidates must ensure correctness of the information in their profile. They must quote the User-ID for further communication with the commission. Applications submitted not in accordance with the conditions of the notification will be summarily rejected. Documents to prove Qualification, community, age and disability certificate from the standing disability assessment board have to be produced as and when called for. 9. As per para 7 of GO(P) No.7/11/SWD dtd 24.01.2011, appropriate adjustment will be made, if necessary, in the ratio among different category, as and when the Govt. issued appropriate orders there to , in order to recoup the paucity in the share due to Blind & Deaf category during the period up to 2003. 11.
