20 - 36. Only candidates born between 02.01.1987 and 01.01.2003 (both dates included) are eligible to apply for this post with usual age relaxation to Scheduled Castes, Scheduled Tribes and Other Backward Communities. a) Essential Qualification Post Graduate Degree in Physics with not less than 50% marks from a recognised University. b) Preferential Qualification 1. M.Phil Degree in Physics from a recognised University. 2. Two years Research/Analytical experience in Physics from a recognised institution. GO(P) No. 19/2014/Home dated 31.01.2014 (SR O(No.83/14)

Note: Three percentage (3%) of the vacancies for the post will be reserved for eligible Differently Abled candidates (candidates with locomotor disability/cerebral palsy, hearing impairment) vide G.O.(P) No. 61/2012/SWD dated 17.10.2012. Differently Abled candidates with blindness or low vision are not eligible to apply for this post. (i) Rule 10(a)(ii) of Part II KS&SSR is applicable. (ii) In addition to the qualifications prescribed in the notification, the qualifications recognized by executive orders or standing orders of Government as equivalent to a qualification specified for a post, in the Special Rules and such of those qualifications which pre-suppose the acquisition of the lower qualification prescribed for the post, shall also be sufficient for the post. The copy of the Government orders declaring equivalent/higher qualifications shall be produced as and when required by the Commission. (iii) The Degrees/Diplomas awarded by UGC approved Universities or Institutions established through an Act passed by Parliament/State Legislative Assembly in accordance with the conditions laid down in G.O (M.S) No.526/PD dated 17.07.1965 are acceptable for appointment in Government Services. (iv) Candidates who claim qualification 7 (b)(2) should obtain Experience Certificate in the following format and should enter details in their Profile regarding experience (certificate number, date, name of post, period, issuing authority, name of institution etc.) and upload scanned image of the same before submitting application. Candidates should produce the Certificate before the Commission as and when asked for the same. (v) Candidates must be certified to possess the visual standards specified below with/without glass by a Medical Officer of or above the rank of an Assistant Surgeon.
