3 (Three) The above vacancies are now in existence. The list of selected candidates published by the Commission in response to this notification shall remain in force for a minimum period of one year provided that the said list will continue to be in force till the publication of a new list after the expiry of the minimum period of one year or till the expiry of three years whichever is earlier. Candidates will be advised from the said list against the vacancies noted above and also against the vacancies if any reported to the Commission in writing during the currency of the list.

18-36. Only candidates born between 02.01.1978 and 01.01.1996 (both dates included) are eligible to apply for this post with usual relaxation to Scheduled Castes, Scheduled Tribes and Other Backward Communities. (for other conditions regarding age relaxation please see para 2 of the General Conditions)
Qualifications
Diploma in the appropriate branch of Engineering / Technology (Computer Hardware and Maintenance) awarded by a University/Government after undergoing regular course of study for not less than three years or its equivalent. Note: Rule 10(a)(ii) of Part II of KS & SSR is applicable.
Notes
Note:- As per G.O.(P) No.1/13/SJD dated 03.01.2013, three percentage (3%) of the vacancies are reserved for the Physically Handicapped persons. [Eligible Categories (1) Workshop Instructor : Locomotor Disability/Cerebral Palsy, Hearing impairment. (2) Demonstrator : Locomotor Disability/Cerebral Palsy,Hearing impairment, Low vision. ] Note:- Age relaxation will be allowed to Officers of Technical Education Department to the extent of their service in the Department, subject to a maximum period of ten years over and above the relaxation in age, if any allowed under general rules. In such cases, the maximum age shall not exceed fifty years.
