Age Limit
20-44. Candidates born between 02.01.1979 and 01.01.2003 (both dates included) are eligible to apply for this post. Other backward communities and SC/ST candidates are eligible for usual age relaxation. (Please see Part II, Para 2 of the General Conditions for age relaxation rules). Note: Employees of Technical Education, Public Works, Public Health Engineering, Industries, Architecture and Town Planning departments are eligible to apply for this post. They are eligible for age relaxation up to the length of their service in their respective departments. In any case, the upper age limit shall not exceed 50 years as on 01.01.2023.
Qualifications
Degree in Engineering/Technology in the relevant branch from a recognized university with not less than 60% marks in the final examination or in aggregate. Equivalent qualification admitted in the previous selection
Notes
i) KS & SSR Part-II Rule 10(a) (ii) is applicable. ii) Candidates claiming equivalent qualification should produce the Government Order proving the equivalency at the time of verification, otherwise the qualification will not be considered. iii) If the caste/community mentioned in the application is different from that in the SSLC book, the candidate must produce the non-creamy layer/caste certificate along with the gazette notification regarding the change of name at the time of certificate verification. Probation: Candidates appointed to this post shall be on probation for a period of two years on duty within a continuous period of three years. Defence Service: If required by the Government, candidates appointed to this post are liable to serve in the Defence Department or in jobs related to defence efforts for a period of not less than four years including training period, either in India or abroad. This liability for defence service is limited to the first ten years of service. This rule is generally not applicable to those who have passed the age of 40.
