Direct Recruitment (Special Recruitment for Scheduled Tribes only).

22-45 Only Candidates born between 02.01.1979 and 01.01.2002 (both dates included) are eligible to apply for this post. No other age relaxation will be allowed. Note:- In the absence of qualified candidates within the age limit the upper age limit shall be relaxed up to 50 years. But in no case the maximum age limit shall exceed 50 (Fifty) years.

(i) Masters degree with not less than 50% marks in Malayalam Language and Literature from any statutory University established in India. (ii) M.Ed Degree with not less than 50% marks with specialization in Language Education or Methods of Teaching Malayalam from any statutory University established in India. (iii) Teacher Eligibility Test or National or State Eligibility Test or M.phil or Ph.D in the subject concerned or in Education.

Note: The above Vacancy is now in existence. The Ranked list published by the Commission in response to this notification shall remain in force for a minimum period of one year and a maximum period of three years, provided that the said list will not continue to be in force if a new list after the expiry of the minimum period of one year is published for this post under the same method of appointment. Advice for appointment will be made from the Ranked list published in pursuance of this notification to the above vacancies and also to the vacancies reported further for Special Recruitment from Scheduled Tribe during the pendency of the list Note:- Applications received from candidates other than Scheduled Tribe candidates will be rejected. Individual communications will not be issued regarding the rejection of their applications for the above reason Note 1:- 1) Candidates who have acquired Non-qualifying degrees viz. Ph.D/M.Phil/Post Doctoral Fellowship will be awarded weightage marks provided that such non-qualifying degrees shall be in the subjects pertaining to the basic qualifications stipulated for the post. Weightage marks for non qualifying degrees for ranking will be awarded as detailed below: Non-Qualifying M.Phil - 2 Marks Non-Qualifying Ph.D - 4 Marks Both M.Phil & Ph.D (Non-Qualifying) - 5 Marks Post Doctoral Fellowship - 2 Marks 2) Non-Qualifying degree means the additional qualifications which are earned apart from the qualifications insisted on as essential qualifications for the post. If Ph.D/M.Phil/Post Doctoral Fellowship is reckoned as necessary qualification for the post, weightage marks will not be awarded for it. Weightage marks will be awarded only to those non-qualifying degrees which are claimed in the application and which are acquired on or before the last date of receipt of applications. Note 2:- 1) The Degrees/Diplomas awarded by UGC approved Universities or Institutions established through an Act passed by the Parliament/State Legislative Assembly in accordance with the conditions laid down in G.O(M.S) No. 526/PD dated 17.07.1965 are acceptable for appointment in Government Services. 2) Rule 10 (a) (ii) of part II of KS&SSR is applicable. 3) In addition to the qualifications prescribed in the notification, the qualifications recognized by Executive Orders or Standing Orders of Government as equivalent to a qualification specified for the post, in the Special Rules and such of those qualifications which pre-suppose the acquisition of the lower qualification prescribed for the post, shall also be sufficient for the post. The copy of the Government Orders declaring equivalent / higher qualifications shall be produced as and when required by the Commission.
