Direct Recruitment (Only from candidates belonging to Dheevara, Latin Catholic/Anglo Indian, and Muslim communities). Applications submitted by candidates other than those belonging to the communities mentioned in the NCA notification will be rejected without any notice.

18-39. Candidates born between 02.01.1984 and 01.01.2005 (both dates included) are eligible to apply. (Including the relaxation as per general conditions). Note: The upper age limit shall not exceed 50 years.

1. Pass in Standard X or equivalent qualification. 2. K.G.C.E in Food Production from a Government Food Craft Institute or any other qualification recognized by the Government of Kerala as equivalent thereto.

1. Candidates must submit applications online through the official website of the Kerala Public Service Commission (www.keralapsc.gov.in). 2. This is the first NCA notification for the post of Cook in Kollam district for Dheevara, LC/AI, and Muslim communities due to the non-availability of qualified candidates from the ranked list published on 29.05.2015 (Category No. 138/2015). 3. A ranked list will be prepared for Kollam district. The NCA ranked list thus prepared will be in force until candidates are advised and appointed against the vacancies earmarked for the above-mentioned communities. 4. Probation: Every person selected shall be on probation for a period of one year on duty within a continuous period of three years from the date of joining service. 5. Candidates must ensure that the caste/community mentioned in the application is the same as that entered in the SSLC book. If there is a difference, a Non-Creamy Layer Certificate/Caste Certificate along with a Gazette notification regarding the change of caste must be produced at the time of certificate verification. 6. Candidates must read the general conditions in Part II of the notification carefully. 7. If a written/OMR/online test is conducted, candidates must submit confirmation through their One Time Registration profile. Only those who submit confirmation will be able to download the admission ticket. 8. Any false information regarding educational qualifications, experience, caste, age, etc., will lead to disciplinary action by the Kerala Public Service Commission as per Rule 22 of the Rules of Procedure.
