Direct Recruitment (From among the candidates belonging to Viswakarma, SIUC Nadar, Hindu Nadar, OBC communities only).

18-43. Only candidates born between 02.01.1979 and 01.01.2004 (both dates included) are eligible to apply for this post (including the relaxation as per Para 2 (i) of the General Conditions). Note:-Maximum age limit shall in no case exceed 50 (Fifty) years.

1) Degree in Arabic or Oriental Title in Arabic (awarded or recognized by any of the Universities in Kerala) and a B.Ed/B.T/L.T Degree conferred or recognized by the Universities in Kerala. OR A Title of Oriental Learning in Arabic (if such Title has been declared as equivalent to Part III of Degree) awarded or recognized by the Universities in Kerala and Certificate in Language Teacher Training issued by the Commissioner for Government Examinations, Kerala. https://www.keralapsc.gov.in/sites/default/files/files/circular_12_18_1.pdf 2) Must have passed the Kerala Teacher Eligibility Test (K-TET) for this post conducted by Government of Kerala. Exemption:- 1. Candidates who have acquired CTET/NET/SET/M.Phil/Ph.D/M.Ed in the respective subject are exempted from acquiring TET qualification.

1. Applications submitted by candidates belonging to the communities other than those included in this notification will be summarily rejected. No rejection memo will be issued to such candidates. 2. Separate Ranked Lists will be prepared for each district and for each reservation community in pursuance of this notification. Ranked Lists thus published and promulgated shall remain in force till candidates are advised and appointed against the vacancies earmarked for the above communities, but remain unfilled due to the paucity of candidates during the currency of the Ranked List published for the districts as detailed in the notification. 3. NCC/Jawan dependents, First Class Scouts and Guides, and Nursery/Primary school teachers age relaxations are applicable subject to rules. 4. Candidates must register as per 'One Time Registration' on the official website of KPSC (www.keralapsc.gov.in) before applying. 5. Confirmation for writing exam must be submitted through One Time Registration profile.
