Part Time High School Assistant (Arabic)

District-wise:- Scheduled Tribe Kannur – 1 (one) (Third Re-notification of the post notified as Category No. 89/09 in Gazette dated 13.4.2009 and Category No. 47/2010 in Gazette dated 27.2.2010)

Direct Recruitment. (From candidates belonging to Scheduled Tribe Community only). In the absence of Scheduled Tribe candidates the applications of Scheduled Caste candidates will be considered.

Age: 18-45 – Only candidates born between 02.01.1968 and 01.01.1995 (both dates included) are eligible to apply for this post (including the relaxation as per para 2 (I) of the General Conditions) Note:- For concessions regarding other age relaxation please see para 2 of the General Conditions except para 2 (i) subject to the condition that the maximum age limit shall in no case exceed 50 (Fifty) years.

A degree in Arabic (or with Arabic as one of the optional subjects under Pattern II of Part III) and B.Ed/B.T/L.T conferred or recognized by the Universities in Kerala OR A title of Oriental Learning in Arabic awarded or recognized by the Universities in Kerala (If such title has been declared as equivalent to part III of Degree) and Certificate in Language Teacher’s Training issued by the Commissioner for Government Examinations, Kerala Note:- (i) Post graduates in Arabic are also eligible to apply if they possess B.Ed/B.T/L.T conferred or recognized by the Universities in Kerala. (ii) B.Ed shall be in the concerned language.

(i) Conventional type application will be summarily rejected. Candidates can apply on-line only on www.keralapsc.gov.in (ii) Application submitted by candidates belonging to the community other than those notified will be summarily rejected. No rejection memo will be issued to such candidates. (iii) Separate Ranked list will be prepared for Kannur district in pursuance of this notification. Ranked List thus prepared and published as per this notification shall remain in force until candidates are advised and appointed against the vacancies earmarked for the above community, but remain unfilled due to paucity of candidates during the currency of the Ranked List published for the post in the following district. (iv) The selection in pursuance of this notification will be made on a revenue district basis, subject to the special conditions laid down in G.O.(MS)No.154/71/PD, dated 27.5.1971. A candidate advised for appointment in one revenue district from the Ranked List prepared is not eligible for transfer to another district unless he/she completes five years continuous service from the date of commencement of service in the former district. Even if transfer is allowed after five years, it will be subject to the rules in G.O.(Ms)No.4/61/PD, dated 2.1.1961. Candidates already in Government service holding this post in any one district are prohibited from applying again for this post, but they can apply to higher posts when notified. (v) Applications shall be sent to Kannur district only in response to this notification. 8. (i) Special Concessions regarding appointment and age limit. Preference will be given as laid down in G.O. (MS) No.50/70/PD. Dated 12.02.70 and G.O.(Ms)No 9/78/G.Edn. Dated 21.1.78 to the wives of Jawans in the matter of recruitment as Teachers, if they possess the prescribed qualifications. Soldiers in active service and those working in base establishment are included under the term ‘Jawans’. Wives of Jawans should select “ Are you entitled to any priority” as 'Yes' on online application and give the details in the space that follows. Such candidates should obtain proper certificate from the Commanding Officer stating the name, military rank and military address of their husbands and produce the same as and when required by the Commission [G.O. (MS) No.509/64/Edn. Dated 19.9.64, G.O.(Ms)No.614/65/Edn. Dated 9.11.65 and G.O. (Ms) No.243/66/Edn. Dated 27.05.1966] (ii) First class Scouts and Guides will be given preference in the matter of appointment as teachers [G.O. (M.S.) No.122/75/G.Edn. dated 27.05.1975 and G.O. (M.S.) No.50/70/PD. dated 12.02.1970)]. (iii) Teachers of the Government Primary and Nursery Schools who are graduates and are otherwise qualified will be exempted from upper age limit [GO (MS) No. 185/70/Edn dated 18-04-1970 and GO (MS) No 466/70/Edn dated 11.11.1970.] They should produce proper certificates from authorities concerned as and when required by the Commission Note : (1)Candidates who claim concessions on the basis of any of the reason mentioned in para 2 of the general conditions should select ''Are you eligible for age relaxation” as ''yes’’ on the online application and give details in the Space following. 10. Mode of submitting applications: Candidates shall register as per 'ONE TIME REGISTRATION ' system on the Official Website of Kerala Public Service Commission 'www.keralapsc.gov.in ' before applying for the post. Candidates who have already registered shall apply by logging in to their profile using their User- ID and password. Candidates shall click on the 'Apply Now' button of the respective posts in the Notification link for applying for a post. No application fee is required. Candidates can view and have a print-out of the details in the profile by clicking the link Registration Card, if required. Candidates are responsible for the correctness of the personal information and secrecy of password. Before applying for a post, candidates must ensure correctness of the information in their profile. They must quote the User- ID for further communication with the Commission. Applications once submitted will be received as provisional and particulars shall not be deleted or altered after submission. Applications submitted not in accordance with the conditions of the notification will be summarily rejected. Documents to prove Qualification, community, age etc. have to be produced as and when called for . 12. If a written test/OMR test is conducted as part of the selection, admission tickets of eligible candidates will be made available in the website of Kerala Public Service Commission.
