Direct Recruitment (From candidates belonging to Dheevara community only )

18-43. Only candidates born between 02.01.1980 and 01.01.2005 (Both dates included) are eligible to apply for this post.(Including para 2(i) of the general conditions.) Note:- For concessions allowed in upper age limit, subject to the condition that the maximum age limit shall in no case exceed 50 (Fifty) years, please see para (2) of the General Conditions under Part II of this Notification. (Except para 2(i) )

1) A Degree in the concerned subject and B.Ed/BT in the concerned subject both conferred or recognized by the Universities in Kerala. (Concerned subjects are specified in Note (iii) below. ) Note : The Degrees/Diplomas awarded by UGC approved Universities or Institutions established through an act passed by Parliament/State Legislative Assembly in accordance with the conditions laid down in G.O(MS) No.526/PD dated 17.07.1965 are acceptable for appointment in Government Services. 2) Must have passed the Kerala Teacher Eligibility Test (K-TET) for this post conducted by the Government of Kerala. Exemption: i) Candidates who have qualified CTET/NET/SET/M.Phil/Ph.D in the respective subjects/M.Ed in any subject are exempted from acquiring TET (G.O.(P)No.145/16/G.Edn dated 30.08.16 and G.O.(P)No. 206/16/G.Edn dated 08.12.2016, GO(P)No:15/2020/GEdn dated 09.10.2020. ii) As per the conditions laid down in Government Circular No.1866829/J3/2017/G.Edn dated 09.03.2018 those who passed CTET primary stage and CTET Elementary stage were excluded from KTET Cat.I & KTET Cat.II respectively. Also CTET qualification can't be considered as an alternative qualification for KTET Cat.III and Cat.IV. Note: (i) M.Phil in the concerned subject be the one awarded by any of the Universities in Kerala or recognised as equivalent by any of the Universities in Kerala. (ii) Diploma in Rural Service awarded by the National Council for Rural Higher Education will also be treated as equivalent to Degree for the above purpose. (iii) The applicant should have taken Botany or Zoology as main subject for Graduation or Post Graduation. Candidates who possess B.Ed Degree in Natural Science after obtaining a degree in Microbiology or Home Science or Family and Community Science before 22.09.2022 are also eligible to apply for this post.(G.O(MS)No.166/2022/G.Edn dated 22.09.2022, GO(MS)No. 235/2022/ G.Edn dated 20.12.2022) (iv) The candidates who have acquired BSc.Ed in Chemistry-Botany-Zoology stream conducted by the Regional Institute Of Education Mysore of NCERT are also eligible to apply for the post.(GO(P)No :117/13/GEdn dated 30.3.2013 ) (v) B.Ed in life science awarded by any of the Universities in Kerala through a regular course of study or B.Ed in Life science awarded by Universities outside Kerala through a regular course of study which is recognised as equivalent to B.Ed in Natural Science by any of the Universities in Kerala will also be accepted as sufficient training qualification for the post. [G.O.(MS) No. 46/2011/G.Edn dated 22/2/2011, G.O(MS)No.145/2012/G.Edn dated 9.5.2012]. (vi) B.Sc Biotechnology along with B.Ed-Natural Science will be considered as one of the qualifications for the post.(GO(Ms) No:113/14/GEdn dtd 19/6/2014). (vii) B.Sc Plant Biology and Plant Biotechnology Of Bharathiyar University will be considered for the post.(GO (MS )No: 41/2018/GEdn dtd 13.04. 2018) (viii) The disciplines in which BSc/MSc and B.Ed degree were obtained should be mentioned in the application. (ix) If there is a written (Descriptive/OMR) test the Question paper for the written test will be in Malayalam. The candidates should answer the questions in Malayalam. In the case of OMR Answer Script, answers are to be marked as instructed. (x) Rule 10(a) ii of Part II of KS & SSR is applicable for this post. (xi) In addition to the qualifications prescribed in the notification, the qualifications recognized by executive orders or standing orders of Government as equivalent to a qualification specified for a post, in the Special Rules and such of those qualifications which pre-suppose the acquisition of the lower qualification prescribed for the post, shall also be sufficient for the post. The copy of the Government orders declaring equivalent/higher qualifications shall be produced as and when required by the Commission.

i) Candidates shall apply online only by One Time Registration to www.keralapsc.gov.in . Applications submitted in any other manner will be summarily rejected. ii) Application submitted by candidates belonging to the community other than those notified will be summarily rejected. No rejection memo will be issued. iii) A Ranked List will be prepared for Wayanad district in pursuance of this notification. Ranked List thus prepared and published as per this notification shall remain in force until candidates are advised and appointed against the vacancies earmarked for the above community, but remain unfilled due to paucity of candidates during the currency of the Ranked List published for the post in the following district. iv) Candidates belonging to above reservation community shall submit application for the post to Wayanad District , where the vacancy is existing and should note the name of the district against the relevant column of the online application. v) The selection in pursuance of this notification will be made on a revenue district basis, subject to the special conditions laid down in G.O.(MS)No.154/71/PD,dated 27.5.1971. A candidate advised for appointment in one revenue district from the Ranked List prepared is not eligible for transfer to another district unless he/she completes five years continuous service from the date of commencement of service in the former district. Even if transfer is allowed after five years, it will be subject to the rules in G.O.(Ms)No.4/61/PD, dated 2.1.1961. Candidates already in Government service holding the same post in any one district are prohibited from applying again for this post, but they can apply to higher posts when notified. SPECIAL CONCESSIONS REGARDING APPOINTMENT AND AGE LIMIT: (i) Preference will be given as laid down in G.O.(MS) No. 50/70/PD dated 12.02.1970 and G.O. (MS) No. 9/78/G.Edn dated 21.01.1978 to the wives of Jawans in the matter of recruitment as Teachers, if they possess the prescribed qualifications. (ii) First Class Scouts and Guides will be given preference in the matter of appointment as Teachers (G.O(MS)No.122/75/G.Edn dated 27.05.1975, GO(MS) No:50/70/PD dtd 12/2/1970). (iii) Teachers of the Government Primary and Nursery Schools who are graduates and are otherwise qualified will be exempted from upper age limit (G.O.(Ms)No:185/70/Edn dated 18.04.1970 and G.O.(Ms) No:466/70/Edn dated 11.11.1970).They should produce proper certificates from authorities concerned as and when required by the Commission. Note: The candidates who are eligible for the above preferences or concessions in upper age limit or concessions by virtue of any of the reason mentioned in Para 2 of the General Condition should claim the same through the “weightage and preferences” link provided in their One Time Registration Profile and give details in the space provided. The applications of candidates who are eligible for concession in upper age limit and who do not claim the same, are liable to be rejected presuming that they are over aged candidates. Upper age limit after allowing the relaxation as per rule should not exceed 50 years of age (see para 2 of General Conditions)
