Direct Recruitment (From candidates belonging to Muslim community only).
Age Limit
18-43. Candidates born between 02.01.1980 and 01.01.2005 (both dates included) are eligible to apply. (Including the relaxation as per Para 2(i) of General Conditions). Note: The upper age limit shall not exceed 50 years.
Qualifications
(1) A Degree in Mathematics or Statistics and B.Ed/BT degree in the concerned subject acquired from any of the Universities in Kerala or recognized as equivalent thereto. (2) Must have passed the Kerala Teacher Eligibility Test (K-TET) for this post conducted by the Government of Kerala. (3) (i) Must have passed SSLC/Plus Two/Pre-degree examination with Kannada as first or second language. OR (ii) Must have a Degree or Post Graduate Degree in Kannada language. Exemption: Candidates who have acquired KTET Category I, II, III or IV are exempted from acquiring CTET qualification as per G.O.(P) No. 15/2020/G.Edn dated 09.10.2020.
Notes
Candidates must register as per 'ONE TIME REGISTRATION' on the official website of the Kerala Public Service Commission (www.keralapsc.gov.in). Applications submitted online only will be accepted. Candidates belonging to communities other than the one specified in the notification will be rejected. A rank list will be prepared for Kasaragod district for the specified community. Candidates must specify the district name in the online application. The selection will be made as per G.O.(MS) No. 154/71/PD dated 27.05.1971. Candidates must produce original documents when required by the Commission. Candidates must have a working knowledge of Kannada language. KS&SSR Part II Rule 10(a) ii is applicable. Candidates must confirm their participation in the examination through their profile.
