Recruitment by transfer (from among the employees who have completed the prescribed service and who are working as Clerk/ Typist/ Attender/ Office Attendant/ Binder in the General Education Department.)

1. A Bachelors Degree with Mathematics or Statistics as Main Subject and BEd/ BT in the concerned subjects conferred or recognized by the Universities in Kerala. Note: The Degree/ Diploma awarded by UGC approved Universities or Institutions established through an act passed by Parliament/ State Legislative Assembly in accordance with the conditions laid down in GO(MS) No 526/65/PD dated 17.07.1965 are acceptable for appointment in Government Services. 2. Must have passed the Kerala Teacher Eligibility Test (K-TET Category III) for this post conducted by the Government of Kerala. Exemption: i) Candidates who have qualified C-TET/ NET/ SET/ MPhil/ PhD in the respective subjects/ MEd in any subject are exempted from acquiring K-TET [GO(P)No 145/16/GEdn dated 30.08.2016, GO(P)No 206/16/GEdn dated 08.12.2016 and GO(P)No 15/2020/GEdn dated 09.10.2020]. ii) C-TET (Primary stage and Elementary stage) qualification shall not be considered as an alternative qualification for K-TET Category III [GO(P)No 6/2024/GEDN dated 01.02.2024]. 3) Candidates should have service not less than 5 years as Clerk/ Typist/ Attender/ Office Attendant/ Binder in the General Education Department as on the date of application.

i) Candidates shall apply online only by One Time Registration to www.keralapsc.gov.in. Applications submitted in any other manner will be summarily rejected. ii) In the absence of suitable candidates, the vacancies set apart for By Transfer recruitment shall be filled up by the candidates from the Ranked List prepared for Direct recruitment. iii) The applicant should be an Approved probationer/ Full member of the Kerala General Education Subordinate Service as on the date of application. iv) Separate Ranked Lists will be prepared for each district in pursuance of this notification. The Ranked list thus prepared and published by the Commission, shall remain in force for a minimum period of one year, subject to the condition that the said list will continue to be in force till the publication of a new list after the expiry of the minimum period of one year or till the expiry of three years whichever is earlier. Candidates will be advised for appointment against the above vacancies and vacancies those are reported during the currency of the list. v) Candidates should submit the application for this post to any one of the district only. Applications should not be submitted to more than one district in response to this notification. If applications are sent in violation to the above direction and if the candidate is selected, his/ her name will be removed from the Ranked List and disciplinary action will be taken against him/ her. vi) The selection in pursuance of this notification will be made on a revenue district basis, subject to the special conditions laid down in GO(MS) No 154/71/PD dated 27.05.1971. A candidate advised for appointment in one revenue district from the Ranked List prepared is not eligible for transfer to another district unless he or she completes 5 years continuous service from the date of commencement of service in the former district. Even if transfer is allowed after five years, it will be subject to the rules in GO(MS)No 4/61/PD dated 02.01.1961. Candidates already in Government service holding this post in any one district are prohibited from applying again for this post, but they can apply to higher posts when notified. vii) The rules regarding the reservation of appointment contemplated in Rule 14 to 17 in Part II of the KS & SSR are not applicable to Recruitment by transfer.
