Anticipated Vacancies

Direct Recruitment from the eligible employees of the member societies affiliated to the Kerala State Co-operative Federation for Fisheries Development Limited.

18 - 50. Only candidates born between 02/01/1974 and 01/01/2006 (both dates included) are eligible to apply for this post.

i) Three (3) years of regular service in any post in the member societies affiliated to the Kerala State Co-operative Federation for Fisheries Development Limited as on the date of application. Must continue in the service of the member society as on the date of appointment. ii) B.Fsc or M.Sc in Industrial Fisheries /Marine Biology or its equivalent from a recognized university.

i) The Notification is published for the anticipated vacancies of the above mentioned post. The vacancies reported for this post from Kerala State Co-operative Federation for Fisheries Development Limited will be filled by apportioning the same in the ratio of 5:3:2 between General Category (Part I),Fisherman/Dependent of Fisherman Category(Part II),Society Category (Part III) with the first vacancy be given to General Category.The vacancies for the same post if any, further reported within the period of this Rank List will also be divided in continuation of the division already made and vacancies for Society Category will be filled from the Ranked List published by the Commission in response to this notification. Candidates will be advised alternately from the Ranked List of general open market (Part I) Fishermen/Dependent of Fishermen (Part II) and Ranked list of employees of member societies (Part III), with first position going to General Open Market candidates. In absence of candidate under Part II (Fishermen/Dependent of Fishermen community)such vacancies shall be filled from Part III (Society Quota)If there is shortage of candidates in the Ranked List of employees of member societies(Society Quota), such vacancies will be filled from the Ranked List of general open market candidates. Such passed over vacancies will not be compensated later. The rules of reservation as laid down in the General Rules 14 to 17 of part II of KS&SSR will be followed for appointment from the list. ii) The Ranked list prepared and published by the Commission for the post shall remain in force for a minimum period of one year and a maximum period of three years, provided that the said Ranked list will not continue to be in force if a new Ranked list is published after the expiry of the minimum period of one year. In case no candidate is advised from the ranked list till the expiry of the period of three years, the duration of the ranked lists shall be extended for a further period of one year or till at least one candidate is advised from the list,whichever is earlier. Candidates will be advised for appointment against the aforesaid vacancies and the apportioned vacancies for the Society category reported further during the period of currency of the Ranked list. iii) As in the case of advices tendered by the Kerala Public Service Commission for appointment to the vacancies of Government Departments, Public Sector Undertakings etc. the rotation will be a continuous one in this seletion also, If there is paucity of candidates in the Ranked List for Society Category , such vacancies will be filled up from the Ranked List for General Category. Such passed over vacancies will not be compensated later. iv) The selection in pursuance of this notification will be made on a statewide basis. Probation: As per the Rule 184 of KCS every person appointed to the post shall from the date on which he/she joins duty be on probation for a period of two year on duty within a continuous period of three years. Note: i) Rule 10 (a) (ii) of Part II KS&SSR is applicable for this selection. ii) The requirement that the employees should be in service of the Society on the date of appointments will not be applicable to those who were recruitedthrough Kerala Public Service Commission to a post in the Kerala State Co-operative Federation for Fisheries Development Limited , reserved for employees of the affiliated Co-operative Societies, provided they are continuing in service in that post. iii) In addition to the qualification prescribed in the notification, the qualifications recognized by executive orders or standing orders of Government as equivalent to a qualification specified for a post in the Special Rules or found acceptable by the commission in cases where acceptance of equivalent qualifications is provided for in the rules, and such of those qualifications which pre-suppose the acquisition of the lower qualification prescribed for the post, shall also be sufficient for the post,will also be accepted for the post. The copy of the Government orders declaring equivalent/higher qualifications shall be produced as and when required by the commission. iv) The eligible employees of affiliated societies of the Kerala State Co-operative Federation for Fisheries Development Limited who apply for the above post should obtain the Service Certificate from the Assistant Registrar (General) showing the details of service of the applicant, which render them eligible to apply for the post and shall be uploaded at the time of submitting application and produced as and when required by the Commission.
