Age Limit

20-41; Candidates must have been born between 02.01.1982 and 01.01.2003 (both dates included).

Qualifications

(1) Educational Qualification: Must have passed Higher Secondary (Plus Two) or equivalent examination. (2) Technical Qualifications: (I) Must possess a valid Driving License of Motor Cycle, Light Motor Vehicles, Heavy Passenger Vehicles, and Heavy Goods Vehicles with Driving Badge. (II) Must prove proficiency in driving Light Motor Vehicles/Heavy Passenger Vehicles/Heavy Goods Vehicles in a practical test conducted by the Kerala Public Service Commission. (3) Physical Qualifications: (a) Height: Must have a minimum height of 168 cm. (b) Chest: Must have a minimum of 81 cm chest and 5 cm expansion. (c) Eye Sight: Must have the following vision without glasses: Distant Vision 6/6 Snellen, Near Vision 0.5 Snellen.

Notes

1. This is a special recruitment for Ex-servicemen who have served as drivers in the Military, Central Armed Forces. 2. Differently abled candidates and women are not eligible to apply. 3. Vacancies will be filled from the general category if qualified Ex-servicemen are not available. 4. The rank list prepared will be valid for one year. 5. Candidates must undergo a 9-month pre-service training. 6. Candidates must submit a security bond. 7. Physical measurement and physical efficiency test will be conducted. 8. Candidates must possess a valid driving license with badge at all stages of selection. 9. Candidates must upload a medical certificate in the prescribed format.
