Direct Recruitment (from candidates belonging to Ezhava/Thiyya/Billava community only )

18 - 42 (only candidates born between 02.01.1983 and 01.01.2007 are eligible to apply for this post) (both dates included). (including the relaxation as per para 2(i) of the General Conditions). Note:- The provisional hands working in the above concern will be given age relaxation to the extent of their provisional service put in subject to a maximum of Five years from the upper age limit provided they are within the prescribed age limit on the date of their first appointment in the above concern. But the regular employees of the concern are not eligible for the above concession for further appointment. The provisional hands should obtain a certificate showing the period of their provisional service in the concern and shall produce the same as and when required by the Commission. It would also be clearly specified in the certificate that they were not working in the regular service of the concern. 1. Degree in Mechanical or Civil Engineering; and 2. One year’s experience in a supervisory capacity in a wood Workshop equipped with modern machines. OR 1. Diploma in Mechanical or Civil Engineering ; and 2. 3 year’s experience in a supervisory capacity in a wood Workshop equipped with modern machines.

Note:- (1) The above vacancy is now in existence. The Ranked List published as per this notification will be valid until candidates are advised and appointed against the vacancies earmarked for the above community but kept unfilled due to the paucity of candidates belonging to Ezhava/Thiyya/Billava community during the currency of the mother Ranked List published on 05.10.2018 (as per Category No. 278/2014) for the post. This is the VI th NCA Notification published due to the non availability of candidates as per the notification in the Gazette dated 13.06.2014(Category No.278/2014), First NCA Notification in the Gazette dated 15.10.2019 (Category No.170/2019), Second NCA Notification in the Gazette dated 15.12.2020 (Category No.346/2020) , Third NCA Notification in the Gazette dated 15.06.2022 (Category No.206/2022), Fourth NCA Notification in the Gazette dated 15.07.2023 (Category No.156/2023) and Fifth NCA Notification in the Gazette dated 30.12.2024 (Category No.548/2024). (2) The Kerala Public Service Commission shall have the power to cancel the advice for appointment of any candidate to the above post, if it is subsequently found that such advice was made under some mistake. On such cancellation the appointing authority shall terminate the service of the candidate, provided that, the cancellation of advice for appointment by the Commission and subsequent termination of service of the candidate by the appointing authority shall be made within the period of probation or 240 days from the date of joining duty whichever is earlier. (3) Rule 10(a) ii of Part II of KS&SSR is applicable. (4) “In addition to the qualifications prescribed in the notification, the qualification recognised by executive orders or standing orders of Government as equivalent to a qualification specified for a post, in the Recruitment Rules and such of those qualifications which pre-suppose the acquisition of the lower qualification prescribed for the post, shall also be sufficient for the post. The copy of the Government orders declaring equivalent/higher qualifications shall be produced as and when required by the Commission.” (5) Only those candidates who have made entries regarding details of experience and uploaded scanned documents in the above prescribed format can apply for the post. (6) The Experience should be one acquired after obtaining the academic or other basic qualifications and prior to the Last date fixed for receipt of application for the post. (7) The Experience Certificate should be countersigned by an Authorised Officer of the State/Central Government. (9) Please specify the post held or nature of assignment – Casual Labourer, Paid/ Unpaid Apprentice /Regular Worker or Temporary Worker. (10) Probation:- The conditions of probation including bond as prescribed in the Recruitment Rules of the firm shall be applicable to this post.
