Age Limit
18–41, (Only candidates born between 01.01.2007 and 02.01.1984 (both dates included) are eligible to apply: (including age relaxation in Part II in para 2(i) of the General Conditions). For other conditions regarding age relaxation, please see the General Conditions (except para 2(i) ) of para II o the gazette.
Qualifications
1. A pass in SSLC or its equivalent examination. 2. Must possess Survey Recorder Class I or II qualification of the Indian Naval Hydrographic Branch. G.O(P) No 5/2003/F&PD dt 25.01.2003 (SRO No 81/2003)
Notes
Note:- I) The candidates selected shall undergo training in the respective field for a required period. During the period of training they shall be entitled to full pay and allowances attached to the post. II) a. Rule 10 a (ii) of part II of KS&SSR is applicable. b. In addition to the qualifications prescribed in the notification, the qualifications recognized by executive orders or standing orders of Government as equivalent to a qualification specified for a post, in the Special Rules and such of those qualifications which pre-suppose the acquisition of the lower qualification prescribed for the post, shall also be sufficient for the post. The copy of the Government orders declaring equivalent/higher qualifications shall be produced as and when required by the Commission. Probation: Every person appointed to the post shall from the date on which he/she joins duty be on probation for a total period of two years on duty within a continuous period of three years. He/She shall during the period of probation, pass the Account Test for Executive Officers, unless he/she has not already passed the test.
