Age Limit
22-45; Candidates must be born between 02/01/1978 and 01/01/2001 (both dates included). SC, ST, and other backward communities are eligible for usual age relaxation. [Refer to the second paragraph of the General Conditions in Part-2 of the Gazette Notification regarding age relaxation].
Qualifications
1. MS/DNB in Otolaryngology (ENT). 2. One year Senior Residency in Otolaryngology (ENT) from an NMC recognized Medical College after Post Graduate Degree. 3. Permanent Registration with Kerala State Medical Council (TCMC) or Council of Modern Medicine.
Notes
Note: (a) KS & SSR Part-II Rule 10 (a) (ii) is applicable. (b) In addition to the qualifications prescribed in this notification, qualifications declared as equivalent by the Government through executive orders or standing orders, and higher qualifications which have the prescribed qualifications as basic qualifications, will be accepted. Government orders regarding equivalent/higher qualifications must be produced when required by the Commission. (c) Candidates appointed to this post must serve in the Armed Forces for a period of four years within the first ten years of their service (including training period), or serve in any job related to defense in India. This compulsory military service is not applicable to those who have completed 45 years of age or those belonging to the differently-abled category.
