18 -41 Candidates must have been born between 02/01/1980 and 01/01/2003 (both dates included). No other age relaxation is applicable for this selection. Note: In the absence of qualified candidates within the specified age limit, the upper age limit can be relaxed up to 50 years. However, under no circumstances shall it exceed 50 years.

Degree in any subject from a University recognized by the UGC / Government of India / Kerala Government Institute. Note: 1. KS & SSR Part II Rule 10 (a) (ii) is applicable. 2. Candidates claiming the correct caste/community in the application, which differs from the entry in the SSLC book, must produce a Gazette notification regarding the caste change along with the Non-Creamy Layer/Caste Certificate at the time of document verification. 3. Candidates claiming equivalent qualifications must produce the Government order proving the equivalency at the time of verification.

1. Candidates not belonging to SC/ST categories will have their applications rejected without separate notification. 2. Training: Selected candidates must successfully complete 8 weeks of Magisterial training (6 weeks from Police Department and 2 weeks from Judicial Department) before completing probation. 3. Probation: Candidates appointed to this post shall be on probation for a total period of two years on duty within a continuous service period of three years from the date of joining. 4. Tests to be passed during probation: 1) Criminal Judicial Test (those with a Law degree are exempted), 2) Account Test (Lower), 3) Revenue Test, 4) Survey Test (Higher) (Chain Survey - Practical Test). 5. Application instructions: Candidates must apply through the official website www.keralapsc.gov.in. Uploaded photos must be taken after 31/12/2011 with name and date clearly recorded. No application fee. Print out of the registration card should be kept. Aadhaar card must be provided as identity proof in the profile. Confirmation for exams must be given through the profile. Failure to provide confirmation will lead to rejection of the application. False claims regarding qualifications will lead to disciplinary action under KPSC Rules of Procedure 1976 Rule 22.
