Direct Recruitment (From among the candidates belonging to Scheduled Caste, Scheduled Tribe, Viswakarma, Dheevara, Hindu Nadar communities only).

1. 18-43. Candidates belonging to Viswakarma, Hindu Nadar, Dheevara communities should have been born between 02.01.1980 and 01.01.2005 (both dates included). 2. 18-45. Candidates belonging to Scheduled Caste, Scheduled Tribe communities should have been born between 02.01.1978 and 01.01.2005 (both dates included). (Including the relaxations prescribed in Para 2 (i) of the General Conditions). Note: For concessions allowed under upper age limit, please see Para (2) of the General Conditions under Part II of this Notification (except rule 2(i)). Upper age limit shall in no case exceed 50 (Fifty) years.

1) A Degree in Arabic or a Degree with Arabic as one of the optional subjects under Part III and a B.Ed/B.T/L.T conferred or recognized by the Universities in Kerala. OR An Oriental Title in Arabic (Courses approved by the Universities in Kerala) and Language Teacher's Training Certificate issued by the Commissioner for Government Examinations, Kerala. OR Passing of the Preliminary (Arabic) Examination of the Universities or passing of the Part III Exam of the Oriental Title (Arabic) (if the said title has been declared as equivalent to Part III of Degree) together with a Language Teacher's Training Certificate issued by the Commissioner for Government Examinations, Kerala. 2) Must have passed the Kerala Teacher Eligibility Test (K-TET-IV) for this post conducted by Government of Kerala. Exemption: 1. Candidates who have qualified CTET/NET/SET/M.Phil/Ph.D/M.Ed in the respective subjects are exempted from acquiring TET qualification (G.O. (P) No. 145/16/G.Edn. dated 30.08.2016, G.O. (P) No. 206/16/G.Edn. dated 08.12.2016, G.O.(P)No.15/2020/G Edn dated 9.10.2020). 2. Candidates who have passed CTET Primary Stage are exempted from passing KTET CATEGORY I and CTET Elementary Stage are exempted from passing KTET CATEGORY II vide G.O. (P) No. 1866829/J3/2017/General Education dated 09.03.2018.

(i) Applications submitted by candidates belonging to the communities other than those notified will be summarily rejected. No rejection memo will be issued to such candidates. (ii) Separate Ranked Lists will be prepared for each district in pursuance of this notification. The Ranked List thus prepared and published by the Commission in pursuance of this notification shall remain in force until candidates are advised and appointed against the vacancies earmarked for the above communities, but remain unfilled due to the paucity of candidates during the currency of the publication of the Ranked List. (iii) Candidates shall submit application to only one district in response to this notification and note the name of the district against the relevant column of the online application. (iv) Selection under this notification will be made on the basis of a District-wise Ranked List. A candidate appointed as High School Teacher (Arabic) on District-wise basis from a Ranked List prepared shall remain in the district for a minimum period of 5 years from the date of commencement of service.
