Direct Recruitment (From candidates belonging to Scheduled Tribe community only).

18-45. Only candidates born between 02.01.1979 and 01.01.2006 (Both dates included) are eligible to apply for this post. (Including para 2 (i) of the general conditions.) Note: For concessions allowed in upper age limit, subject to the condition that the maximum age limit shall in no case exceed 50 (Fifty) years, please see para (2) of the General Conditions under Part II of this Notification [Except para 2(i)].

1. A Bachelors Degree with Mathematics or Statistics as Main Subject and BEd/ BT in the concerned subjects conferred or recognized by the Universities in Kerala. 2. Must have passed the Kerala Teacher Eligibility Test (KTET Category III) for this post conducted by the Government of Kerala. Exemption: (1) Candidates who have qualified CTET/ NET/ SET/ MPhil/ PhD in the respective subjects/ M.ED in any subject are exempted from acquiring KTET [GO(P)No 145/16/GEdn dated 30.08.2016, GO(P)No 206/16/GEdn dated 08.12.2016 and GO(P)No 15/2020/G.Edn. dated 09.10.2020]. (2) CTET (Primary stage and Elementary stage) qualification shall not be considered as an alternative qualification for KTET Category III [GO(P)No 6/2024/GEdn Dated 01.02.2024]. Note: (i) MPhil in the concerned subject be the one awarded by any of the Universities in Kerala or recognised as equivalent by any of the Universities in Kerala. (ii) Post Graduates in Mathematics/ Statistics with BEd/ BT in the concerned subject will also be treated as equivalent to Degree for the above purpose. (iii) Diploma in Rural Service awarded by the National Council for Rural Higher Education will also be treated as equivalent to Degree for the above purpose. (iv) The candidates who have acquired BScEd in Physics-Chemistry-Mathematics stream conducted by the Regional Institute of Education, Mysore of NCERT are also eligible to apply for the post [GO(P)No 117/13/GEdn dated 30.03.2013]. (v) The disciplines in which BSc/ MSc and BEd/ BT Degree were obtained should be mentioned in the application form. (vi) If there is Written (Descriptive/ OMR) test Question paper for the Written test will be in Malayalam. The candidates should answer the questions in Malayalam. In the case of OMR answer script, answers are to be marked as instructed. (vii) Rule 10(a) ii of part II of KS&SSR is applicable for this post. (viii) In addition to the qualifications prescribed in this notification, the qualifications recognized by executive orders or standing orders of Government as equivalent to qualifications specified for a post, in the Special Rules and such of those qualifications which pre-suppose the acquisition of the lower qualification prescribed for the post, shall also be sufficient for the post. The copy of the Government orders declaring equivalent/ higher qualifications shall be produced as and when required by the Commission.

i. Candidates shall apply online only by One Time Registration to www.keralapsc.gov.in. Applications submitted in any other manner will be summarily rejected. ii. Application submitted by candidates belonging to the community other than those notified will be summarily rejected. No rejection memo will be issued. iii. Separate Ranked List will be prepared for each district in pursuance of this notification. Ranked List thus prepared and published as per this notification shall remain in force until candidates are advised and appointed against the vacancies earmarked for the above community, but remain unfilled due to paucity of candidates during the currency of the Mother Ranked List published for the post in the following district. iv. Candidates belonging to above reservation community shall submit application for the post to the district concerned, where the vacancy is existing and should note the name of the district against the relevant column of the online application. Applications shall not be sent to more than one district in response to this notification. v. The selection in pursuance of the notification will be made on a revenue district basis, subject to the special conditions laid down in GO(MS)No 154/71/PD, dated 27.5.1971. SPECIAL CONCESSIONS REGARDING APPOINTMENT AND AGE LIMIT: Preference given to wives of Jawans, First Class Scouts and Guides, and Teachers of Government Primary and Nursery Schools as per specified GOs. Mode of submitting Application: Candidates must register as per “ONE TIME REGISTRATION” with the Official Website of Kerala Public Service Commission 'www.keralapsc.gov.in' before applying for the post. Candidates who have AADHAAR card should add AADHAAR card as I.D. Proof in their profile. If Written/ OMR/ Online Test is conducted as part of this selection, candidates shall submit a confirmation for writing the examination through their One Time Registration profile. Special Instructions to Candidates: In the case of difference in Caste/ Community claimed in the application and that entered in SSLC Book, the candidate shall produce a gazette notification in this regard, along with Community Certificate at the time of Certificate Verification.
