18-50. Candidates born between 02.01.1971 and 01.01.2003 (both dates included) are eligible to apply. (Part II of the General Conditions regarding age relaxation is not applicable).
Qualifications
1. Degree in Physical Education (B.PED) from a recognized university. 2. Minimum ten years of experience as a Physical Education Teacher in a Government or Aided School (High School). Desirable: 1. Experience in organizing sports/games activities at District/State/National level. 2. Training certificate from Lakshmibai National Institute of Physical Education, Bangalore.
Notes
Note: Differently abled candidates are not eligible to apply for this post. 1. KS & SSR Part II Rule 10 (a) (ii) is applicable. 2. Candidates claiming equivalent qualification should produce Government Order proving the equivalency at the time of verification. 3. Candidates claiming a different caste/community in the application than what is recorded in the SSLC book must produce a Gazette notification regarding the change along with a Non-Creamy Layer/Caste certificate at the time of verification. 4. Candidates must record details of service/work experience (Certificate number, date, designation, period, issuing authority, name of institution) and upload a scanned image of the experience/service certificate. The original certificate must be produced when required. 5. Experience claimed must be acquired after acquiring the prescribed qualification. 6. The authenticity of the experience certificate will be verified. Legal action will be taken against those who submit fake certificates. Experience certificates from private institutions must be countersigned by an authorized official of the Central/State Government.
