22-36, Only candidates born between 02.01.1989 and 01.01.2003 (both dates included) are eligible to apply for this Post. Other Backward Communities and SC/ST Candidates are eligible for usual age relaxation. I or II Class Masters Degree in Dance (Kerala Natanam) or its equivalent from any Statutory University/ University and Deemed Universities recognized by the UGC.

Note I: Due to the non availability of DA candidate as per Section 34(2) of The Rights of Persons with Disabilities Act 2016 in the previous rank list of this post, one vacancy is reserved for DA category. The same will be filled from the ranked list of this notification. In the absence of the first eligible DA category in the Ranked list as per this notification, the same will be advised from other eligible DA categories as per Section 34(2) of above said Act. In the absence of DA candidates, it will be advised from General Category. The Ranked list of selected candidates published by the Commission in response to this notification shall remain in force for a minimum period of one year provided that the said list will continue to be in force till the publication of a new list after the expiry of the minimum period of one year or till the expiry of three years whichever is earlier. Candidates will be advised from the said list against the vacancies that may be reported to the Commission during the period of the currency of this list. Note II : 4% of the total vacancies reported shall be reserved for eligible Differently Abled candidates withdisabilities as specified vide GO(P) No. 5/2023/SJD dated 01.10.2023. Note:- I. 1. Candidates belonging to Scheduled Caste/Scheduled Tribe require only 50% marks for the respective Master's Degree whenever such qualification is insisted. 2. When qualifications are equal, preference shall be given to those who have studied Malayalam as one of the languages either at Degree level or Post Graduate level. II. 1. Rule 10(a) ii of Part II of KS & SSR is applicable. 2. Candidates who have acquired Non-qualifying degrees viz. Ph.D/M.Phil/Post Doctoral Fellowship will be awarded weightage marks provided that such non-qualifying degrees shall be in the subjects pertaining to the basic qualification stipulated for the post. Weightage marks for non qualifying degrees for ranking will be awarded as detailed below. Non-Qualifying M.Phil - 2 marks, Non-Qualifying Ph.D- 4 marks, Both M.Phil & Ph.D (Non-Qualifying) -5 marks, Post Doctoral Fellowship - 2 marks. 3. Non-Qualifying degree means the additional qualifications which are earned apart from the qualifications insisted on as essential qualifications for the post. If Ph.D/M.Phil/Post Doctoral Fellowship is reckoned as necessary qualification for the post, weightage marks will not be awarded for it. 4. Weightage marks will be awarded only to those non-qualifying degrees which are claimed in the application and which are acquired on or before the last date for receipt of application. 5. The Degrees / Diplomas awarded by UGC approved Universities or Institutions established through an act passed by Parliament/State Legislative Assembly in accordance with the condition laid down in G.O (M.S) No.526/PD dated 17/07/1965 are acceptable for appointment in Government Services. 6. In addition to the qualifications prescribed in the notification, the qualifications recognized by executive orders or standing orders of Government as equivalent to a qualification specified for a post, in the special Rules or found acceptable by the commission in cases where acceptance of equivalent qualifications is provided for in the rules and such of those qualifications which pre-suppose the acquisition of the lower qualification prescribed for the post, shall also be sufficient for the post. The copy of the Government orders declaring equivalent/higher qualifications shall be produced as and when required by the Commission.
