No rejection memo will be issued to such candidates.
Age Limit
18-43. Only candidates born between 02.01.1982 and 01.01.2007 (both dates included) are eligible to apply for this post. In the case of adult members of Scheduled Caste and their children converted to Christian religion the upper age limit shall be 45 years ie., candidates born between 02.01.1980 & 01.01.2007 (Including age relaxation as per para 2(i) of General Conditions). Note :- For concessions allowed in upper age limit, subject to the condition that the maximum age limit shall in no case exceed 50 (fifty) years, please see para (2) of the General Conditions under Part II of this Notification except para 2 (i).
Qualifications
1. A pass in Higher Secondary Examination with Hindi as second language. OR A pass in SSLC examination with Hindi as additional language conducted by the Commissioner for Government Examinations, Kerala and a pass in Higher Secondary examination. OR A pass in Higher Secondary examination and a pass in Praveen Examination conducted by the Dakshina Bharath Hindi Prachar Sabha. OR A pass in Higher Secondary examination and a pass in Sahityacharya Examination conducted by the Kerala Hindi Prachar Sabha. OR A pass in Higher Secondary examination and a pass in Rashtra Bhasha Visarad Examination conducted by the Dakshina Bharath Hindi Prachar Sabha. OR A pass in Higher Secondary examination and a pass in Hindi Bhooshan Examination conducted by the Kerala Hindi Prachar Sabha. OR A pass in Higher Secondary examination and a Degree/Post Graduate Degree in Hindi conferred or recognized by the Universities in Kerala. AND A pass in the 2 year Diploma in Elementary Education (Hindi), in short D.El.Ed (Hindi), examination conducted by the Commissioner for Government Examinations, Kerala. OR A Degree in Hindi and B.Ed in Hindi conferred or recognized by the Universities in Kerala. Note:- Qualifications noted as Item 2 below are applicable to those candidates who have acquired those qualifications or gained admission to the respective (Item-2) qualifying courses on or before 07.03.2019. Those who have gained admission to Item-2 qualifying courses from 08.03.2019 to 09.06.2024 will be considered only if they possess D.El.Ed qualification in Hindi as on the last date of receipt of application. 2. A degree in Hindi conferred or recognised by the Universities in Kerala. OR A title of Oriental Learning in Hindi awarded or recognised by the Universities in Kerala. OR Praveen of the Dakshina Bharath Hindi Prachar Sabha, Madras with a pass in SSLC examination conducted by the Commissioner for Government Examinations, Kerala or its equivalent. OR Sahithyacharya of Kerala Hindi Prachar Sabha with a pass in SSLC examination conducted by the Commissioner for Government Examinations, Kerala or its equivalent. OR Rashtra Bhasha Visarad (R.B.V) of the Dakshina Bharath Hindi Prachar Sabha with a pass in SSLC examination conducted by the Commissioner for Government Examinations, Kerala or its equivalent. OR A pass in Hindi Bhooshan Examination of the Kerala Hindi Prachar Sabha with a pass in SSLC Examination conducted by the Commissioner for Government Examinations, Kerala or its equivalent. 3. Must have passed the Kerala Teacher Eligibility Test-IV (K-TET-IV) for this post conducted by the Government of Kerala (Generally applicable for candidates who apply under 7(1) and 7(2) above).
Notes
i) A Ranked List will be prepared for Ernakulam district in pursuance of this notification. The NCA Ranked List thus prepared and published as per this notification shall remain in force until candidates are advised and appointed against the vacancies earmarked for the above community, which remain unfilled due to paucity of candidates for selection from the Ranked List published for the post on the following date. ii) The selection in pursuance of this notification will be made on a revenue district basis, subject to the special conditions laid down in G.O. (Ms) No. 154/71/PD dated, 27.05.1971. A candidate advised for appointment in one revenue district from the Ranked List so prepared is not eligible for transfer to another district unless he/she completes five years continuous service from the date of commencement of service in the former district. Even if, transfer is allowed after five years, it will be subject to the orders contained in G.O(MS) No. 4/61/PD, dated 02.1.1961. But as per G.O.(P) No. 12/96/P&ARD dated 16.03.1996 the condition of five years service is not applicable for transfer to the districts Idukki, Wayanad and Kasaragod. The concession will be available only for getting transfer to these districts but not for getting transfer out of these districts. And these concession will be granted only once in the career of a Govt. Servant. Candidates already in Government service, holding the post in any one district are restricted from applying for the same post in another district. But they can apply for higher posts when notified. iii) Candidates should submit application for the post to Ernakulam district where the vacancy is existing and should note the name of that district against the relevant column of the online application. Exemption: (i) Candidates who have qualified CTET/NET/SET/M.Phil/Ph.D in the respective subjects or M.Ed are exempted from acquiring KTET (G.O. (P) No. 145/16/G.Edn. Dated 30.08.16, G.O. (P) No. 206/16/G.Edn. Dated 08.12.2016). (ii) As per G.O.(P) No. 6/2024/GEDN dated 01.02.2024 CTET (Primary stage & Elementary stage) will not be considered against KTET Category III and IV. (iii) Candidates who have acquired KTET Category III are exempted from acquiring KTET Category IV [G.O. (Ms) No. 109/22/GEDN dated 24.06.2022] Note: (1) As per G.O (P) No. 15/2020/G.Edn dated 09.10.2020, M.Ed which is prescribed as a substitute qualification for KTET need not be subject specific. (2) M.Phil in the concerned subject be the one awarded by any of the Universities in Kerala or recognised as equivalent by any of the Universities in Kerala. (3) Candidates should possess the minimum general educational qualification for the post viz, A pass in SSLC examination conducted by the Commissioner for Government Examinations, Kerala or its equivalent (G.O (MS) No. 232/2009/G.Edn. Dated 30.11.2009). (This clause is applicable only for those applying with qualifications specified as 7(2)). (4) Rule 10(a)(ii) of Part II of KS & SSR is applicable for this post. SPECIAL CONCESSIONS REGARDING APPOINTMENT AND AGE LIMIT: (i) Preference will be given as laid down in G.O (MS) No. 50/70/PD dated 12.02.1970 and G.O (MS) No. 9/78/G.Edn. Dated 21.01.1978 to the wives of Jawans in the matter of recruitment as Teachers, if they possess the prescribed qualifications. (ii) First Class Scouts and Guides will be given preference in the matter of appointment as Teachers (G.O (MS) No. 122/75/G.Edn. dated 27.05.1975 and G.O (MS) No. 50/70/PD dated 12/02/1970). Mode of submitting application: Candidates must register as per ONE TIME REGISTRATION with the official website of Kerala Public Service Commission www.keralapsc.gov.in before applying for the post. Candidates who have registered can apply by logging on to their profile using their User-ID and Password. Candidates must click on the 'Apply Now' button of the respective posts in the Notification Link to apply for a post. Candidates who create new profile should upload photograph taken within 6 months. Name of the candidate and the date of photograph taken should be printed legibly at the bottom portion. The photograph once uploaded meeting all requirements shall be valid for 10 years from the date of taking the photograph. No application fee is required. Candidates are responsible for the correctness of the personal information and secrecy of password. Before the final submission of the application on the profile candidates must ensure correctness of the information in their profile. They must quote the User-ID for further communication with the Commission. Application submitted is provisional and cannot be deleted or altered after submission. Candidates are advised to keep a printout or soft copy of the online application for future reference. Candidates can take the printout of the application by clicking on the link 'My applications' in their profile. All correspondences with the Commission, regarding the application should be accompanied with the print out of the application. The application will be summarily rejected if noncompliance with the notification is found in due course of processing. Original documents to prove qualification, age, community etc. have to be produced as and when called for. (b) Candidates who have Aadhaar card should add Aadhaar card as I.D proof in their profile. Special instructions to candidates: 12. In the case of difference in Caste/Community claimed in the application and that entered in SSLC book, the candidate shall produce a gazette notification in this regard, along with Community certificate at the time of certificate verification. 13. Candidates are required to acquaint themselves with the instructions given in the notification as Part II, General Conditions before submitting application for the post. Applications which are not submitted in accordance with the terms and conditions laid down in the General Conditions are liable to be rejected. 14. Appropriate disciplinary action as per Rule 22 of the Kerala Public Service Commission Rules of Procedure shall be initiated against those candidates who submit applications with bogus claims of qualification regarding education, experience etc. and are liable to be disqualified for being considered for a particular post or debarment from applying to the Commission either permanently or for any period or the invalidation of their answer script or products in a written/practical test or the initiation of criminal or other proceedings against them or their removal or dismissal from office or the ordering of any other disciplinary action against them if they have already been appointed, or any one or more of the above.
