Direct Recruitment (from candidates belonging to Viswakarma, Ezhava/Thiyya/Billava reservation communities only).
Age Limit
18-43. Candidates belonging to Viswakarma, Ezhava/Thiyya/Billava communities should be born between 02.01.1977 and 01.01.2002 (both dates included) (including the age relaxation as per Para 2(i) of the General Conditions). Note:- For conditions regarding upper age limit please see Part II of the Gazette Notification (except Para 2(i)). Upper age limit shall in no case exceed 50 (Fifty) years.
Qualifications
1. A Degree in Arabic conferred or recognized by the Universities in Kerala. OR A Title of Oriental Learning in Arabic awarded or recognized by the Universities in Kerala. OR Pre-Degree with Part III Arabic (Special Optional) of the University of Calicut. OR Plus Two Part III Arabic (Optional) course conducted by the Board of Higher Secondary Education, Kerala. OR SSLC Examination of the Government of Kerala with First Language (First Paper) and Second Paper Arabic, and passed. OR SSLC Examination of the Government of Kerala or equivalent and possessing any of the following qualifications: 1. Arabic Munshi Higher Examination, Government of Kerala, passed. 2. Arabic Munshi Lower Examination, Government of Kerala, passed. 3. Arabic Teachers Examination, Government of Kerala, passed. 4. Examination in Arabic Entrance conducted by the Universities of Kerala or Calicut. Note:- In addition to the above qualifications, BA Arabic & Islamic History double main degree awarded or recognized by the Universities in Kerala as per G.O.(Ms) No.8/19/P&ARD dated 14.01.2019 is also treated as a yquivalant qualification for this post. 2. Must have passed the Kerala Teacher Eligibility Test (K-TET) for this post. Exemption:- Candidates who have acquired CTET/NET/SET/M.Phil/Ph.D/M.Ed in the respective subjects are exempted from acquiring TET qualification (G.O.(P)No.145/16/G.Edn. Dated 30.08.2016 and G.O.(P)No.206/16/G.Edn. Dated 08.12.2016).
Notes
(i) Applications submitted online through One Time Registration at www.keralapsc.gov.in will only be accepted. (ii) Applications submitted by candidates belonging to communities other than those notified will be summarily rejected. (iii) Separate Ranked Lists will be prepared in pursuance of this notification for each district. Ranked List thus prepared and published by the Commission shall remain in force until candidates are advised and appointed against the vacancies earmarked for the above communities, remains unfilled due to paucity of candidates during the currency of the Ranked List published for the post in the following districts: Kozhikode | Date of publication of Ranked List: 28.02.2019 | Category No: 471/13 Wayanad | Date of publication of Ranked List: 13.03.2019 | Category No: 471/13 (iv) Candidates shall submit application to only one district and note the name of the district against the relevant column in the online application. (v) The selection in pursuance of this notification will be made on district wise basis... (vi) The caste/community details in the SSLC book should be correct and necessary supporting documents along with Gazette notification/Non-Creamy Layer Certificate from Revenue authorities should be produced at the time of OTR Verification.
