Age Limit
18-44. Candidates born between 02.01.1979 and 01.01.2005 (both dates included) are eligible to apply. [Including relaxation as per General Conditions 2(i)]. Note: The upper age limit shall not exceed 50 (fifty) years in any case, subject to the relaxation provided in Part II of the notification.
Qualifications
i) Must have passed 7th standard, but should not have acquired any degree. ii) Must be an Ex-Serviceman. Note: i) KS & SSR Rule 10 (a) ii, Part II is applicable. ii) Service in Border Security Force (BSF), Defence Security Corps (DSC), Assam Rifles, General Reserve Engineering Force (GREF), Jammu & Kashmir Militia, Lok Sahayak Sena etc. will not be considered as military service as per G.O(P)No.399/77/GAD dated 26.11.1977. iii) Ex-servicemen who have obtained a Military Graduation Certificate as per G.O(P)No.5/2018/P&ARD dated 19.04.2018 are eligible to apply. iv) Personnel of the Territorial Army are considered as Ex-servicemen if they fall under the following categories: a) Personnel of the Territorial Army, namely, pension holders for continuous embodied service or broken spell of qualifying service. b) Gallantry award winners of the Armed forces including personnel of Territorial Army. c) Ex-recruits boarded out or relieved on medical ground and granted medical disability pension. Candidates producing official documents proving they belong to any of the above three categories will be considered for selection. v) Candidates with higher qualifications than those prescribed, which are declared equivalent by the Government or are considered as basic qualifications, will be accepted. Government orders regarding equivalent/higher qualifications must be produced when required by the Commission.
Notes
Probation: Any person appointed to this post shall be on probation for a period of one year of service within a continuous period of three years from the date of joining duty. - Candidates must register through 'One Time Registration' on the official website www.keralapsc.gov.in. - Candidates must keep a soft copy/print out of the online application for future use. - Candidates must produce original documents for verification when required. - Aadhaar card holders must provide Aadhaar card as identity proof in their profile. - If an OMR/Online test is conducted, candidates must submit confirmation through their profile to get the admission ticket. - Candidates must read the General Conditions (Part II) of the notification carefully.
