Direct Recruitment (from candidates belonging to Latin Catholic/Anglo Indian, Ezhava/Thiyya/Billava communities only).

18-43. Candidates belonging to Latin Catholic/Anglo Indian, Ezhava/Thiyya/Billava communities born between 02.01.1977 and 01.01.2002 (both dates included) are eligible to apply. (Including the age relaxation as per Para 2(i) of the General Conditions). Note:- For other conditions regarding age relaxation please see Part II, Paragraph 2 of the General Conditions (except Para 2(i)).

1) A Degree in Arabic or Oriental Title in Arabic awarded or recognized by any of the Universities in Kerala and a pass in B.Ed/B.T/L.T Degree conferred or recognized by the Universities in Kerala. OR A Title in Oriental Languages in Arabic (under Part 3 of the Degree corresponding to the above) awarded or recognized by the Universities in Kerala and Language Teacher Training Certificate issued by the Commissioner for Government Examinations, Kerala. 2) Must have passed the Kerala Teacher Eligibility Test (K-TET) for this post conducted by Government of Kerala. Exemption: Candidates who have qualified CTET/NET/SET/M.Phil/Ph.D in the respective subjects and M.Ed are exempted from acquiring TET qualification (G.O. (P) No. 145/16/G.Edn. Dated 30.08.2016, G.O. (P) No. 206/16/G.Edn. Dated 08.01.2016, G.O(P) No. 15/2020/ G.Edn. Dated 09.10.2020). Note:- (i) M.Phil awarded in the concerned subject from any of the Universities in Kerala or recognized by any of the Universities in Kerala shall be treated as equivalent to M.Phil Degree. (ii) Post Graduation in Arabic optional is also eligible to apply for the post provided they have B.Ed/B.T/L.T qualification. (iii) B.Ed should be in the concerned language (Arabic). (iv) Candidates who have acquired BA (Arabic & Islamic History) Double Main Degree from Calicut University are also eligible to apply for this post. (G.O (Ms) No.114/2018/GEDN Dated 16.08.2018) (v) KS & SSR Part II Rule 10 a (ii) is applicable. (vi) Candidates claiming equivalent qualification should produce the Government Order proving equivalency at the time of verification, failing which such qualification shall not be treated as equivalent.

(i) Applications submitted by candidates belonging to the communities other than those notified will be summarily rejected. No rejection memo will be issued to such candidates. (ii) Separate Ranked Lists will be prepared for each district in pursuance of this notification. The Ranked List thus prepared and published by the Commission in pursuance of this notification shall remain in force until candidates are advised and appointed against the vacancies earmarked for the above communities, due to the paucity of candidates during the currency of the Ranked List published as detailed below: Thrissur - 16.10.18 - 536/13 Kasaragod - 18.01.19 - 536/13 (iii) Candidates shall submit application to only one district in response to this notification and note the name of the district against the relevant column of the online application. (iv) Selection under this notification will be made on the basis of a District-wise Ranked List. (v) The selection to the post will be subject to the special conditions laid down in G.O.(Ms)No.154/71/PD dated 27.05.1971.
