Districtwise Thiruvananthapuram Scheduled Tribe 01 (One)

Direct Recruitment (From candidates belonging to Scheduled Tribe community of Kerala State Only). Note: Application of candidates belonging to the community other than those belonging to Scheduled Tribe community will be summarily rejected. No rejection memo will be issued to these candidates.

18 - 41, Only candidates born between 02.01.1979 and 01.01.2002 (both dates included) are eligible to apply for this post. [Including the relaxation as per para 2 (i) of General Conditions]. Note :- For concessions allowed in upper age limit, subject to the condition that the maximum age limit shall in no case exceed 50 (fifty) years, Please see Para (2) of the General Condition under Part II of this notification (except para 2(i).)

(1) Must be a pensioned Junior Commissioned Officer of the Army or equivalent in the Navy or Air Force. OR (2) In the absence of candidates with the qualification mentioned in item (1) above, candidates with literacy in English and ten years Military Service in the Army, Navy or Air Force. OR (3) In the absence of qualified hands under items (1) and (2) above, SSLC or equivalent with six months Police or Military Training. Note:- (i) A working knowledge in Malayalam, or Tamil or Kannada shall be an essential qualification. (ii) Differently abled candidates shall not be eligible to apply for the post. Hence sub para vii on Para (2) and Paras 5 & 5 (a) of the General Conditions are not applicable to this post. (iii) The candidates shall produce a Medical Certificate from a Medical Officer not below the rank of a Civil Surgeon Grade II to prove the following physical qualification at the time of interview. (Please see the form of medical certificate given below) (a) (i) Height - 160 cms (ii) Chest - 76 cms with a minimum expansion of 5 cms. (b) Visual standards with Glasses. Right Eye Left Eye Distant Vision 6/6 Snellen 6/6 Snellen Near Vision 0.5 Snellen 0.5 Snellen Each eye must have full field of vision. Colour blindness, squint or any morbid condition of the eye or eye lids of either eye shall be a disqualification. (c) Must be free from apparent physical defects like knock knee, flat foot, varicose veins, bow legs, deformed limbs, irregular and protruding teeth, defective speech and hearing. (iv) KS&SSR Part II Rule 10 a (ii) is applicable for selection to this post. (v) Candidates claiming equivalent qualification should produce relevant Government Orders during OTR verification to prove that the qualification claimed is equivalent to the prescribed qualification for the post.

(i) The above vacancy is now in existence. A Ranked List will be prepared for the above district in pursuance of this notification. Ranked List thus prepared and published by the Kerala Public Service Commission shall remain in force until candidates are advised and appointed against the vacancy earmarked for the above community, but remain unfilled due to paucity of candidates during the currency of the Ranked List published for the post in the following district or for three years from the date of finalization of the NCA Ranked List as per this notification whichever is earlier. (iii) The second NCA notification is issued due to paucity of qualified candidates belonging to above community after the issuance of First NCA notification vide category No.46/2019. (iv) In the case of change in Caste/Community noted in the SSLC book, candidates must claim their original caste/community in the application and shall produce Caste/community certificate issued by the Revenue Authorities and the original Gazette notification publishing the change of caste/community at the time of OTR verification for selection to the above post. (v) The selection in pursuance of this notification will be made on a Revenue District basis, subject to the special conditions laid down in G.O (MS) No. 154/71/PD dated 27.05.1971. A candidate advised for appointment in one Revenue District from the Ranked List prepared is not eligible for transfer to another district unless he/she completes five years continuous service from the date of commencement of service in the former district. Even if transfer is allowed after five years, it will be subject to the rules in G O (MS) No.4/61/PD, dated 2.1.1961. Candidates already in Government Service holding the same post in the same department in any one district are prohibited from applying again for this post, but they can apply to higher posts when notified.
