Direct Recruitment (From candidates belonging to Ezhava/Thiyya/Billava category only). Note: Applications submitted by candidates other than Ezhava/Thiyya/Billava category will be summarily rejected. No individual rejection intimation will be given to such candidates.
Age Limit
18-39; Candidates should be born between 02/01/1982 and 01/01/2003 (both dates included). The relaxation in age limit as per paragraph 2(i) of the General Conditions is applicable. In no case shall the maximum age limit exceed 50 (fifty) years.
Qualifications
1. Must have passed SSLC. 2. Must have completed a Certificate Course in Prosthetics & Orthotics conducted by institutions recognized by the Rehabilitation Council of India. OR Must possess a Degree/Diploma in Prosthetics & Orthotics from institutions recognized by the Rehabilitation Council of India. In the absence of the above two qualifications: 3. Candidates who have successfully completed ITI trades in Carpentry, Sheet Metal, and Fitter will be considered. If appointed, they will be treated as trainees for one year and will be paid the minimum scale of pay of the post.
Notes
1. KS&SSR Part II Rule 10(a)(ii) is applicable. 2. Candidates claiming equivalent qualifications should produce the relevant Government Order at the time of certificate verification to prove the equivalency. 3. In case of difference in caste/community claimed in the application and that recorded in the SSLC book, the candidate must produce the relevant Gazette Notification along with the Non-Creamy Layer/Caste Certificate at the time of certificate verification. 4. Applications submitted by candidates not belonging to the Ezhava/Thiyya/Billava category will be summarily rejected. 5. Candidates must keep a soft copy/print out of the online application for future use. 6. Candidates must produce the original documents for educational qualification, experience, caste, age, etc., when required by the Commission. 7. Candidates must provide confirmation for the examination through their One Time Registration profile. Failure to do so will lead to summary rejection of the application. 8. KPSC Rules of Procedure Rule 22 is applicable for candidates who provide false claims regarding qualifications/experience and then fail to appear for the examination after providing confirmation. 9. Candidates with Aadhar card must provide it as identity proof in their profile.
