Direct Recruitment.

18-36. Only candidates born between 02.01.1989 and 01.01.2007 (both dates included) are eligible to apply for this post. Other Backward Communities and SC/ST candidates are eligible for usual age relaxation. Note: The provisional hands working in the above concern will be given age relaxation to the extent of their provisional service put in subject to maximum five years from the upper age limit provided they are within the prescribed age limit on the date of their first appointment in the above concern .But the regular employees of the concern are not eligible for the above concession for further appointment . The provisional hands should obtain a certificate showing the period of their provisional service in the concern and shall produce the same as and when required by the commission. It should also be clearly specified in the certificate that they were not working in the regular service of the concern. (For other conditions regarding the age relaxation please see para 2 (i), (ii), (iii), (iv), (vi), (vii) & (xii) of the general conditions.)

i) ITI in Electrician from a Government approved Institution. Experience :- At least one year of experience as Electrical Helper from a Government /Quasi Government or a Registered Private Sector Undertaking. Note: If there is a deficiency of SC/ST candidates, the condition of experience for SC/ST candidates shall be relaxed, if they are found otherwise suitable for the post to fill the quota reserved to them. Note:- (1) Rule 10(a)ii of Part II of KS&SSR is applicable. (2) In addition to the qualifications prescribed in this notification, the qualifications recognized by executive orders or standing orders of Government as equivalent to a qualification specified for the post in the Special Rules and such of those qualifications which pre–suppose the acquisition of the lower qualification prescribed for the post, shall also be sufficient for the post. The copy of the Government orders declaring equivalent / higher qualifications shall be produced as and when required by the Commission.

(i) The above vacancy is now in existence. The Ranked list of selected candidates published by the Commission in response to this notification shall remain in force for a minimum period of one year and a maximum period of three years, provided the said list will not continue to be in force if a new Ranked List is published after the minimum period of expiry of one year or till the expiry of three years whichever is earlier. Candidates will be advised from the said list against the vacancies noted above and that may be reported to the Commission in writing during the period of currency of the list. (ii) The Kerala Public Service Commission shall have the power to cancel the advice for appointment of any candidate to the above post, if it is subsequently found that such advice was made under some mistake. On such cancellation, the appointing authority shall terminate the service of candidate, provided that, the cancellation of advice for appointment by the Commission and subsequent termination of service of the candidate by the appointing authority shall be made within the period of probation or 240 days from the date of joining duty whichever is earlier. 1. The Experience should be one acquired after obtaining the academic or other basic qualifications and prior to the Last date fixed for receipt of application for the post. 2. The Experience Certificates should be countersigned by an Authorized Officer of the State/ Central Government. The genuineness of the Experience Certificate will be subjected to scrutiny and legal action will be taken against those who issue or produce bogus certificate. 3. For further details regarding experience, please see Para 19 & 21 of the General Conditions. 8. Probation: The probation period is applicable as per the provisions of the Special Rules of the Rehabilitation Plantations Limited. 10. a) Sub Paras (v), (viii), (ix), (x), (xi),(xiii) & (xiv) of Paragraph 2 and para 6 of the General Conditions are not applicable to this post. b) The appointment in the Rehabilitation Plantations Limited will be subject to the rules and regulations made by them from time to time. 13. Special Instructions to Candidates: a) In the case of difference in Caste / Community claimed in the application and that entered in SSLC book, the candidate shall produce a Gazette notification in this regard, along with Non-Creamy Layer Certificate / Community Certificate at the time of certificate verification. b) Candidates are required to acquaint themselves with the instruction given in the notification as part II, General conditions before submitting application for the post. Applications which are not submitted in accordance with the terms and conditions laid down in the General conditions are liable to be rejected. c) Appropriate disciplinary action as per Rule 22 of the Kerala Public Service Commission Rules of Procedure shall be initiated against those candidates who submit applications with bogus claims of qualification regarding education, experience etc. and are liable to be disqualified for being considered for a particular post or debarment from applying to the Commission either permanently or for any period or the invalidation of their answer scripts or products in a written / practical test or the initiation of criminal or other proceedings against them or their removal or dismissal from the Office or the ordering of any other disciplinary action against them, if they have already been appointed, or any one or more of the above.
