1 A Pass in S.S.L.C. Examination conducted by the Commissioner for Government Examinations ,Kerala or its equivalent. AND 2 Group Certificate in Needle Work and dress making of the KGTE (Higher) or MGTE(Higher) OR Group Certificate in Tailoring of the KGTE (Higher) or MGTE(Higher) OR Group Diploma in Crafts issued by the Commissioner for Government Examinations, Kerala. OR National Trade certificate in Cutting and Tailoring issued by the National Council for Training in Vocational Trades ,Government of India (GO (P) NO.106/82/G.Edn. Dated 29/07/1982. OR Diploma in Craftsmanship (Tailoring and Garment Making), awarded by the Director of Technical Education, Kerala. OR Diploma in Craftsmanship in Tailoring and Embroidery, awarded by the Director of Technical Education, Government of Kerala. (G.O(P)No.157/89/G.Edn Dated 24/08/1989). OR National Trade Certificate in in Dress making awarded by National Council for Training in Vocational Trades (G.O.(P)No.501/97/Edn.Dated 18/12/1997. OR Bachelor of Fashion Technology (BFT) from M. G University. (G.O (MS)No.40/2018/G.Edn Dated 12/04/2018). OR B.Sc Fashion & Apparel Design Technology (B.Sc FATD) from Kannur University (G.O(MS)No.40/2018/G.Edn.Dated 12/04/2018). OR B.Sc Costume & Fashion Designing from Calicut University (G.O(MS)No.40/2018/ G.Edn.Dated 12/04/2018). OR Diploma in Fashion Designing issued by the Kerala Institute of Labour and Employment (KILE) (G.O (MS)No.74/2018/G.Edn Dated 29/05/2018). OR Diploma in Fashion Designing awarded by the Indira Gandhi National Open University (IGNOU) (G.O (MS)No.114/2019/G.Edn. Dated 06/08/2019). 3 Must have passed the Kerala Teacher Eligibility Test (K-TET IV) for this post conducted by the Government of Kerala Exemption: Candidates who have qualified CTET/NET/SET/M.Phil/Ph.D in the respective subjects and M.Ed are exempted from acquiring TET (G.O.(P) No.145/16/G.Edn. Dated 30.08.16 and G.O. (P) No.206/16/G.Edn. Dated 08.12.2016).

Note:- (i) Candidates shall apply online only by One Time Registration on www.keralapsc.gov.in. Applications submitted in any other manner will be summarily rejected. (ii) Applications submitted by candidates belonging to the communities other than that notified will be summarily rejected. No rejection memo will be issued. (iii) Separate Ranked Lists will be prepared for the above districts for each community in pursuance of this notification. NCA Ranked List thus prepared and published as per this notification shall remain in force until candidates are advised and appointed against the vacancies earmarked for the above communities, which remain unfilled due to paucity of candidates during the currency of the Ranked List published for the post in the following districts. (iv) Candidates shall submit application for the post to any one of the above mentioned districts where the vacancy is existing for the respective community and shall note the name of that district against the relevant column in the online application. If applications are sent contrary to the above direction, and if the candidate is selected, his/her name will be removed from the Ranked List and disciplinary action will be taken against him/her. (v) The selection in pursuance of this notification will be made on a revenue district basis, subject to the special conditions laid down in G.O (Ms) No. 154/71/PD dated, 27.05.1971. A candidate advised for appointment in one revenue district from the Ranked List prepared is not eligible for transfer to another district unless he/she completes five years continuous service from the date of commencement of service in former district. Even if transfer is allowed after five years, it will be subject to the rules in G.O(MS) No.4/61/PD dated, 02.01.1961. But as per the G.O.(P)No.12/96/P&ARD dated 16.3.1996 the conditions of 5 years Service is not applicable for transfer to the districts Idukki, Wayanad and Kasaragod. The concession will be available only for getting transfer to these districts but not for getting transfer out of these districts. And these concession will be granted only once in the career of a Govt. Servant. Candidates already in Government service holding this post in any one district are prohibited from applying again for this post, but they can apply to higher posts when notified. (vi) As per the conditions laid down in Government Circular No.1866829/J3/2017/G.Edn dated 09/03/2018, exemptions are given to those who have passed C-TET Primary stage from K-TET Category I and C-TET Elementary stage from K-TET Category II .Based on the above condition, C TET will not be considered against K-TET Category III & IV. (vii) As per G.O(P). No.15/2020/G.Edn dated 09/10/2020, M.Ed which is prescribed as a substitute qualification for K-TET need not be subject specific. (viii) M.Phil in the concerned subject be the one awarded by any of the Universities in Kerala or recognised as equivalent by any of the Universities in Kerala. (ix) Rule 10(a) (ii) of Part II of the KS&SSR will be applicable for this post. (x) In addition to the qualifications prescribed in the notification, the qualifications recognized by executive orders or standing orders of Government as equivalent to a qualification specified for a post, in the special rules or found acceptable by the Commission in cases where acceptance of equivalent qualifications is provided for in the rules and such of those qualifications which pre suppose the acquisition of the lower qualification prescribed for the post , shall also be sufficient for the post. The copy of the Government orders declaring equivalent/higher qualifications shall be produced as and when required by the commission. (xi) SPECIAL CONCESSIONS REGARDING APPOINTMENT AND AGE LIMIT: Preference will be given as laid down in G.O.(MS) No. 50/70/PD dated 12.02.1970 and G.O. (MS) No. 9/78/G.Edn. Dated 21.01.1978 to the wives of Jawans in the matter of recruitment as Teachers, if they possess the prescribed qualifications. First Class Scouts and Guides will be given preference in the matter of appointment as Teachers (G.O (MS) No. 122/75/G.Edn. Dated 27.05.1975 and GO (MS) No 50/70/PD dtd 12.2.1970.)
