20-42. Only candidates born between 02.01.1980 and 01.01.2002 (both dates included) are eligible to apply for this post (including the relaxation as per Para 2(i) of the General Conditions). Note:- For other conditions regarding age relaxation please see Para 2 of the General Conditions except Para 2(i). Note:- Officers of Technical Education, Public Works, Public Health Engineering, Industries, Architecture & Town Planning Departments who have the prescribed qualifications can apply for this post. They will be given relaxation in upper age limit up to the length of their service in respective departments. In any case, the maximum age limit shall not exceed 50 (Fifty) years as on 01.01.2022.

A First Class Post Graduate Degree in Commerce after a regular course of study from a recognized University and Diploma in Commercial Practice. Note: (1) KS & SSR Part II Rule 10 (a) ii is applicable. (2) In addition to the qualifications prescribed in the notification, the qualifications recognized by executive orders or standing orders of Government as equivalent to a qualification specified for a post, shall suffice and produzirng equivalency certificate from the Government at the time of verification, alone will be accepted. (3) Candidates who claim equivalent qualification instead of qualification mentioned in the notification shall produce the Government Order/Gazette Notification proving equivalency at the time of Certificate Verification, and if they fail to produce it, their application will be treated as cancelled. (4) Additional marks will be given to candidates who have acquired Ph.D/M.Phil/Post Doctoral Fellowship in the relevant subjects as their basic qualification for the post. Marks will be awarded for Non-Qualifying qualifications as follows: Non-Qualifying M.Phil - 2 Marks Non-Qualifying Ph.D - 4 Marks M.Phil & Ph.D (Non-Qualifying) - 5 Marks Post Doctoral Fellowship - 2 Marks Non-Qualifying qualifications means extra qualifications acquired over and above the basic qualifications prescribed for the post. Weightage marks will be awarded only for Non-Qualifying degrees acquired and claimed in the application and obtained on or before the last date of receipt of application.

(a) Candidates must register as per 'One Time Registration' with the official website of Kerala Public Service Commission www.keralapsc.gov.in before applying for the post. (b) Appropriate action will be taken as per Rule 22 of KPSC Rules of Procedure against those candidates who submit applications with false claims of qualification, experience etc. and give confirmation for writing examination, irrespective of whether they attend or not. (c) Candidates having Aadhaar Card should add Aadhaar Card as ID proof in their profile.
