Direct Recruitment. (from the candidates belonging to the communities viz. Ezhava/Thiyya/Billava, Latin Catholics/Anglo Indian, Other Backward Classes, SIUC Nadar, Scheduled Caste only).

(i) 18-43. Candidates belonging to Ezhava/Thiyya/Billava, Latin Catholics/Anglo Indian, Other Backward Classes, SIUC Nadar communities should be born between 02.01.1980 and 01.01.2005 (both dates included). (ii) 18-45. Candidates belonging to Scheduled Caste community who had been converted to Christianity from Scheduled Caste after attaining adulthood and children of such parents who belong to SIUC Nadar community should be born between 02.01.1978 and 01.01.2005 (both dates included). [Including the age relaxation as per Para 2(i) of the General Conditions].

1) A Degree in Arabic or a Degree with Arabic as one of the optional subjects under Part III and B.Ed/B.T/L.T conferred or recognized by the Universities in Kerala. OR A Title of Oriental Learning in Arabic (Conferred or Recognized by the Universities in Kerala) and Language Teacher's Training Certificate issued by the Commissioner for Public Examinations, Kerala. OR Sahithyacharya certificate issued by the Dakshina Bharat Hindi Prachar Sabha or Diploma in Sahithyacharya issued by the Kerala Public Service Commission and Language Teacher's Training Certificate issued by the Commissioner for Public Examinations, Kerala (provided the Sahithyacharya title has been declared as equivalent to Part III of B.A Degree). 2) Must have passed the Kerala Teacher Eligibility Test (K-TET) for this post conducted by Government of Kerala.

(i) Candidates shall apply only through online facility available on the Kerala Public Service Commission website viz. www.keralapsc.gov.in. (ii) Applications submitted by candidates belonging to the communities other than those included in this notification will be summarily rejected. No individual memo will be issued to such candidates. (iii) Separate Ranked Lists will be prepared in pursuance of this notification for each district and for each community. Ranked List thus prepared and published by the Commission shall remain in force until candidates are advised and appointed against the vacancies earmarked for the above communities, remaining unfilled due to the paucity of candidates during the currency of the Ranked List published as per the dates mentioned in the notification. (iv) Candidates should submit applications to any one of the districts in response to this notification and note the name of that district against the relevant column of the online application. (v) The selection in pursuance of the notification will be made on the basis of a District-wise Ranked List subject to the special conditions laid down in G.O.(MS) No. 154/71/PD dated 27.05.1971.
