Age Limit
20 - 41. Candidates must be born between 02.01.1981 and 01.01.2002 (both dates included). In the absence of qualified candidates within the specified age limit, the upper age limit shall be relaxed up to 50 years. However, in no case shall the age exceed 50 years.
Qualifications
1). Pass in Plus Two/Pre-Degree/VHSE with Science subjects / VHSE in Domestic Nursing from a recognized University or equivalent qualification. 2). Pass in B.Sc Nursing or a course of not less than 3 years in General Nursing and Midwifery from an institution recognized by the Government. 3). Must be registered as Nurse and Midwife (for women) or Nurse (for men) with the Kerala Nurses and Midwives Council.
Notes
1. KS&SSR part II Rule 10(a)(ii) is applicable regarding qualifications. 2. Candidates claiming equivalent qualification should produce Government order/certificate proving equivalency at the time of certificate verification. 3. In case of any difference in caste mentioned in SSLC book, candidates should produce caste certificate from the concerned Revenue Authority and Gazette notification at the time of verification. 4. Applications from candidates not belonging to SC/ST will be rejected without notice. 5. The rank list prepared will be valid for a minimum period of one year and a maximum of three years. If a new rank list is published for the same post under the same method of appointment after one year, the current list will cease to be valid. Vacancies reported during the validity of the list will be filled from the list. In the absence of ST candidates, vacancies reserved for them will be notified separately. 6. Candidates must provide Aadhaar card as ID proof in their profile. 7. Candidates must confirm their participation for the exam through their profile within the specified time. Failure to do so will lead to rejection of application. 8. Any false claims regarding qualifications/experience will lead to disciplinary action as per KPSC Rules of Procedure Rule 22.
