19-42. Only SC/ST candidates born between 02.01.1971 and 01.01.1994 (both dates included) are eligible to apply for this post (including para 2 (i) of General Conditions). Note: - For concessions allowed in upper age limit, subject to the condition that the maximum age limit shall in no case exceed 50 years, please see para (2) of the General Conditions under Part II of this notification [except para 2 (i)].

(1) Pass in Standard VII. (2) JTSLC or ITI or KGTE or KGCE or City and Guilds Examination in the concerned trade. Note:- (i) The certificates awarded by City and Guilds of London Institute after 31.03.1985 will not be accepted. (ii) Candidates should specify the name of the trade/branch also along with the qualification in the application.

(i) In the absence of Scheduled Caste candidates, Scheduled Tribe candidates will also be considered. (ii) Conventional type applications will be summarily rejected. Candidates shall apply through the online application facility available at the Kerala Public Service Commission website viz. www.keralapsc.gov.in. (iii) Applications submitted by candidates belonging to the communities other than those notified will be summarily rejected. No rejection memo will be issued individually to these candidates. (iv) Candidates shall note the name of trade concerned along with the name of post in the application. (v) Separate Ranked List will be prepared for the above district in pursuance of this notification. Ranked List thus prepared and published as per this notification shall remain in force until candidates are advised and appointed against the vacancies earmarked for the above community, but remain unfilled due to paucity of candidates during the currency of the Ranked List published for the post on 08.02.2011 in Malappuram District as Category No. 377/07. (vi) The candidates shall submit application for the post to the district where the vacancy is existing for their respective community and shall note the name of that district against the relevant column of the online application. Applications should not be sent to more than one district in response to this notification. If applications are submitted contrary to the above direction and if he/she is selected, his/her name will be removed from the Ranked List and disciplinary action will be taken against him/her. (vii) The selection in pursuance of the notification will be made on a revenue district basis, subject to the special conditions laid down in G.O.(Ms)No.154/71/PD dated 27.05.1971. A candidate advised for appointment in one revenue district from the Ranked List prepared is not eligible for transfer to another district unless he/she completes five years continuous service from the date of commencement of service in the former district. Even if transfer is allowed after five years, it will be subject to the rules in G.O.(Ms)No.4/61/PD, dated 02.01.1961. Candidates already in Government service holding the same post in any one district are prohibited from applying again for this post, but they can apply to higher posts when notified. Candidates shall register as per "ONE TIME REGISTRATION" system on the Official Website of Kerala Public Service Commission viz. www.keralapsc.gov.in. Candidates who have registered shall apply by logging on to their profile using their User ID and password. Candidates shall click on the 'Apply Now' button of the respective posts in the Notification link for applying for a post. No application fee is required. Candidates can view and have a print-out of the details in the profile by clicking the link Registration Card, if required. Candidates are responsible for the correctness of the personal information and secrecy of the password. Before applying for a post, candidates must ensure the correctness of the information on their profile. They shall quote the User ID for further communication with the Commission. Applications once submitted will be received as provisional and particulars shall not be deleted or altered after submission. Applications submitted not in accordance with the conditions of the notification will be summarily rejected. Documents to prove Qualification, Experience, Community, Age etc. have to be produced as and when called for. If a Written Test/OMR Test is conducted as part of the selection, Hall Ticket of eligible candidates will be made available in the website of the Kerala Public Service Commission.
