Direct Recruitment. [From candidates belonging to Scheduled Caste Community only] (In the absence of candidates belonging to SC Community, candidates belonging to ST community will be considered).

Age: 18-44 – Only candidates born between 02.01.1969 and 01.01.1995(both dates included) are eligible to apply for this post. (including the relaxation as per para 2 (i) of the General Conditions). Note:- For conditions regarding other age relaxation please see para 2 of the General Conditions under Part II of this notification, except para 2 (i).

1. Pass in S.S.L.C. Or its equivalent qualification. 2. Pass in T.T.C. Or its equivalent qualification.

(i) Conventional type application will be summarily rejected. Candidates shall apply online only on www.keralapsc.gov.in (ii) Applications submitted by candidates belonging to the communities other than those notified will be summarily rejected. No rejection memo will be issued. (iii) Separate Ranked list will be prepared for Kannur district in pursuance of this notification. Ranked List thus prepared and published as per this notification shall remain in force until candidates are advised and appointed against the vacancies earmarked for the above community, but remain unfilled due to paucity of candidates during the currency of the Ranked List published for the post in the following district. Name of District: Kannur | Date of Publication of Ranked List: 25.08.2008 | Category: 90/2006 (iv) The selection in pursuance of the notification will be made on a revenue district basis, subject to the special conditions laid down in G.O.(MS)No.154/71/PD, dated 27.5.1971. A candidate advised for appointment in one revenue district from the Ranked List prepared is not eligible for transfer to another district unless he/she completes five years continuous service from the date of commencement of service in the former district. Even if transfer is allowed after five years, it will be subject to the rules in G.O.(Ms)No.4/61/PD, dated 2.1.1961. Candidates already in Government service holding this post in any one district are prohibited from applying again for this post, but they can apply to higher posts when notified. (v) The candidates belonging to the above reservation community shall submit application for this post to Kannur district only and shall note the name of the district against relevant column in the online application. Note:-(i) If a written test is conducted for this post the question paper will be in Malayalam. The candidates should answer the question in Malayalam. (ii) The candidates who claim concession in upper age limit should select “Are you eligible for age relaxation” as “yes” on the online application and give details in the space following. Otherwise the applications are liable to be rejected presuming that they are over aged candidates. Upper age limit after allowing the relaxation as per rule shall not exceed 50 years of age. (See para 2 of General Conditions) Candidates shall register as per 'ONE TIME REGISTRATION ' system on the Official Website of Kerala Public Service Commission 'www.keralapsc.gov.in' for applying for the post. Candidates who have registered shall apply by logging in to their profile using their User- ID and password. Candidates shall click on the 'Apply Now' button of the respective posts in the Notification link for applying for a post. No application fee is required. Candidates can view and have a print-out of the details in the profile by clicking the link Registration Card, if required. Candidates are responsible for the correctness of the personal information and secrecy of password. Before applying for a post, candidates must ensure correctness of the information in their profile. They must quote the User- ID for further communication with the Commission. Applications once submitted will be received as provisional and particulars shall not be deleted or altered after submission. Applications submitted not in accordance with the conditions of the notification will be summarily rejected. Documents to prove Qualification, community, age etc. have to be produced as and when called for. If a written test/OMR test is conducted as a part of the selection admission tickets of eligible candidates will be made available in the website of Kerala Public Service Commission.
