Only candidates born between 02.01.1977 and 01.01.2002 (both dates included) are eligible to apply for this post in respect of Ezhava/Thiyya/Billava, SIUC Nadar, Hindu Nadar, OBC, LC/AI, Viswakarma, SCCC, Dheevara communities. (Including the relaxation as per Para 2(i) of the General Conditions). [For other conditions regarding age relaxation please see part 2 of the General Conditions except rule 2(i)]. (For SC/ST candidates, 18-45. Only candidates born between 02.01.1975 and 01.00.2000 (both dates included) are eligible to apply).

1) A Degree in Arabic conferred or recognized by the Universities in Kerala. OR A Title of Oriental Learning in Arabic awarded or recognized by the Universities in Kerala. OR Pre-Degree with Part III Arabic (Special Optional) of the University of Calicut. OR Plus Two Part III Arabic (Optional) course of the Higher Secondary Board, Kerala. OR Pass in SSLC Examination conducted by the Commissioner for Government Examinations, Kerala with First Language (First Paper and Second Paper) Arabic. OR Pass in SSLC Examination equivalent thereto, and possessing any of the following qualifications: 1) Proficiency in Arabic Munshi (Higher) Examination conducted by the Commissioner for Government Examinations, Kerala. 2) Proficiency in Arabic Munshi (Lower) Examination conducted by the Commissioner for Government Examinations, Kerala. 3) Teacher's Examination in Arabic conducted by the Commissioner for Government Examinations, Kerala. 4) Entrance Examination in Arabic conducted by the Universities of Kerala or Calicut. Note: In addition to the above qualifications, BA Arabic & Islamic History double main degree obtained from universities in Kerala or recognized by them is also a valid qualification as per GO(Rt)No.8/19/G.Edn dated 14.01.2019. 2) Must have passed the Kerala Teacher Eligibility Test (K-TET-IV) for this post. Exemption: Candidates who have qualified CTET/NET/SET/M.Phil/Ph.D/M.Ed in the respective subjects are exempted from acquiring TET qualification. (G.O. (P) No. 145/16/G.Edn. Dated 30.08.2016, G.O. (P) No. 206/16/G.Edn. Dated 08.12.2016). Note 1: As per GO(P) No 15/2020/G.Edn dated 09.10.2020, M.Ed qualification-holders are exempted from having specific subject specialisation for KTET. Note 2: M.Phil awarded in the concerned subject should be from any of the Universities in Kerala or recognized as equivalent by them. Note 3: Candidates who possess SSLC equivalent qualification should produce the equivalency certificate from the Govt of Kerala at the time of certificate verification.

(i) Applications submitted by candidates belonging to communities other than those notified will be summarily rejected. (ii) Separate Ranked Lists will be prepared for each district in pursuance of this notification. The Ranked List thus prepared and published by the Commission shall remain in force until candidates are advised and appointed against the vacancies earmarked for the communities, remains unfilled due to paucity of candidates during the currency of the ranked list published for the posts as detailed below: Thiruvananthapuram - 12.04.2019 (229/16) Pathanamthitta - 27.03.2019 (229/16) Alappuzha - 22.02.2019 (229/16) Idukki - 13.03.2019 (229/16) Ernakulam - 13.03.2019 (229/16) Thrissur - 22.02.2019 (229/16) Kasaragod - 29.03.2019 (229/16) (iii) Candidates shall submit application to any one district only and note the name of the district against the relevant column of the online application.
