Age Limit
Age 18-36. Only candidates born between 02.01.1978 and 01.01.1996 (both dates are included) are eligible to apply for this post with usual relaxation to Scheduled Castes, Scheduled Tribes and Other Backward Communities. (for other conditions regarding the age relaxation please see paragraph 2 of the General Conditions.) Note: Age relaxation will be allowed to officers of Technical Education Department to the extent of their service in the Department; subject to a maximum period of ten years over and above the relaxation in age, if any, allowed under general rules. In such cases, the maximum age shall not exceed fifty years.
Qualifications
1 A pass in Technical High School Leaving Certificate Examination in the Appropriate Trade. OR 2 (i) A pass in S.S.L.C Examination or its equivalent. (ii) National Trade Certificate in the appropriate Trade/Pass in Kerala Government Certificate in Engineering Examination in the appropriate Trade/ Pass in Vocational Higher Secondary Certificate Course in the appropriate Trade. Note: Rule 10(a)(ii) of part II, KS & SSR is applicable.
