18-43. Candidates belonging to Ezhava/Thiyya/Billava, Latin Catholics/Anglo Indian, O.B.C., Viswakarma, Hindu Nadar should have been born between 02.01.1978 and 01.01.2003 (both dates included). 18-45. Candidates belonging to Scheduled Caste should have been born between 02.01.1976 and 01.01.2003 (both dates included). 18-45. SCCC candidates converted from Scheduled Caste after attaining majority and their children should have been born between 02.01.1976 and 01.01.2003 (both dates included). [Including the age relaxation as per Para 2(i) of the General Conditions]. Note :- For other conditions regarding age relaxation, please see Part II, Para 2 of the General Conditions except Para 2(i).

1) A Degree in Arabic or a Degree with Arabic as one of the optional subjects under Part III and a B.Ed/B.T/L.T conferred or recognized by the Universities in Kerala. OR A Title of Oriental Learning in Arabic (Aftab-I-Fadil, Moulvi Fazil etc.) awarded or recognized by the Universities in Kerala (if such Title has been declared as equivalent to Part III of a Degree) and Language Teacher's Training Certificate issued by the Commissioner for Government Examinations, Kerala. OR A Title of Oriental Learning in Arabic (Title should be declared equivalent to Part 3 of the relevant Degree) and Language Teacher's Training Certificate issued by the Commissioner for Government Examinations, Kerala. 2) Must have passed the Kerala Teacher Eligibility Test (K-TET) for this post. Exemption:- Candidates who have-passed CTET/NET/SET/M.Phil/Ph.D/M.Ed in the respective subjects are exempted from acquiring TET qualification. (G.O. (P) No. 145/16/G.Edn. dated 30.08.2016, G.O. (i) Applications submitted by candidates belonging to the communities other than those notified will be summarily rejected. No rejection memo will be issued to such candidates. (ii) Separate Ranked Lists will be prepared for each district in pursuance of this notification. The Ranked Lists thus prepared and published by the Commission in response to this notification shall remain in force until candidates are advised and appointed against the vacancies earmarked for the above communities, but remain unfilled due to the paucity of candidates during the currency of the Ranked Lists published for the districts previously. (iii) Candidates shall submit application to any one district only in response to this notification and note the name of the district against the relevant column of the online application. (iv) Selection to this post will be made on the basis of district-wise communal quota as per the special rules and orders issued on 27.05.1971. (v) KS & SSR Part II Rule 10 a (ii) is applicable.
