By Direct Recruitment from qualified in-service personnel working in lower categories in Kerala Water Authority.

18-50 (No further relaxation is admissible.) [Only candidates born between 02.01.1974 and 01.01.2006 (both dates included) are eligible to apply for this post.] Note: Differently Abled Candidates applying for this post are not eligible for age relaxation.

1) Diploma in Civil/Mechanical Engineering awarded by the Directorate of Technical Education, Government of Kerala after the completion of three years course after pass in SSLC or its equivalent. 2) Must have worked for a period of not less than three years in any of the lower categories included under the Kerala Water Authority Technical Service Rules, 2023 or under Kerala Water Authority (Administrative/ Ministerial and Last Grade) Service Rules 2011. [G.O.(P) No. 1/2023/WRD dated 27.01.2023.]

Note:- (i) The above vacancies are now in existence. The Ranked list of selected candidates published by the Commission in pursuance to this notification shall remain in force for a minimum period of one year and a maximum period of three years provided the list will not continue to be in force if a new Ranked List is published after the minimum period of expiry of one year or till the expiry of three years whichever is earlier. Candidates will be advised against the vacancies shown above and for all the vacancies of the said post reported during the period of pendency of the Ranked list. (ii) The Kerala Public Service Commission shall have the power to cancel the advice for appointment of any candidate to the above post, if it is subsequently found that such advice was made under some mistake. On such cancellation the appointing authority shall terminate the service of the candidate, provided that, the cancellation of advice for appointment by the Commission and subsequent termination of service of the candidate by the appointing authority shall be made within the period of probation or 240 days from the date of joining duty whichever is earlier. Note:- 1) By Direct – Recruitment from In-service personnel working in any of the lower categories included under GO(P) No.1/2023/WRD dated, 27.01.2023 rules or under Kerala Water Authority (Administrative, Ministerial and Last Grade) Service Rules, 2011 for a period of not less than 3 years. 2) In the absence of eligible candidates, the vacancies will be filled up from the Ranked List prepared for Direct Recruitment to the above post. 3) Reservation provided under Rules 14 to 17 of Part II, KS&SSR is not applicable. 7. Applicant should obtain a Service Certificate in the format shown below from Head of Office / Department and should produce when required by the Commission. Note: (1) Rule 10(a)ii of Part II of KS&SSR is applicable. (2) In addition to the qualification prescribed in the notification, the qualification recognized by Executive Orders or Standing Orders of Government as equivalent to a qualification specified for the post in the Special Rules and such of those qualification which pre–suppose the acquisition of the lower qualification prescribed for the post, shall also be sufficient for the post. The copy of the Government Orders declaring equivalent / higher qualifications shall be produced as and when required by the Commission. 9. Probation: The probation period is applicable as per the provisions of the Special Rules of the Kerala Water Authority.
