20-36. Only candidates born between 02.01.1989 and 01.01.2005 (both dates are included) are eligible to apply for this post with usual age relaxation to SC, ST and other Backward Communities. (For other conditions regarding the age relaxation, please see Part-II Para 2 of the General Conditions of the Gazette Notification)

A Post Graduate Degree in Economics or Statistics or Mathematics or Commerce from a UGC recognized University or a National Institute established by the Government of India or Institute established by the Government of Kerala. Note:in the case of Mathematics, Statistics shall be a subject of study at least in the Bachelor's degree level and in the case of Commerce, Statistics or Business Statistics or Arithmetic Statistics shall be a subject of study at least in the Bachelor's degree level.

Note:- 4% of the total vacancies reported shall be reserved for eligible Differently Abled candidates with disabilities as specified vide G O (P) No.5/2023/SJD dated: 01.10.2023. Probation: (a) Every person appointed to this post shall from the date on which he/she joins duty, be on probation for a total period of two years on duty with in a continuous period of three years. (b) Every person appointed by this post shall during the period of probation undergo six months field duty in the District Offices. (Economics and Statistics). Tests: Every probationer appointed to this post shall within the period of probation pass the Account Test for Executive Officers or Account Test (Lower or Higher), if he has not already passed the test. 1. Rule 10 a (ii) of part II of KS&SSR is applicable. 2. In addition to the qualifications prescribed in the notification, the qualifications recognized by executive orders or standing orders of Government as equivalent to a qualification specified for a post, in the Special Rules and such of those qualifications which pre suppose the acquisition of the lower qualification prescribed for the post, shall also be sufficient for the post. The copy of the Government orders declaring equivalent/higher qualifications shall be produced as and when required by the Commission.
