18-37. Candidates born between 02.01.1986 and 01.01.2005 (both dates included) are eligible to apply for this post. Candidates belonging to Scheduled Castes, Scheduled Tribes and Other Backward Communities are eligible for usual age relaxation. In any case, the maximum age limit shall not exceed 50 (fifty) years. (For other conditions regarding age relaxation, see Part-2 of the General Conditions of the notification).

1) M.Sc Degree in Zoology with First Class or Second Class.

1. The Ranked List prepared in pursuance of this notification shall remain in force for a minimum period of one year and a maximum period of three years provided that the said list will not continue to be in force if a new Ranked List is published after the expiry of the minimum period of one year. Candidates will be advised from the said list against the vacancies reported to the Commission during the period of currency of the list. 2. 4% of the vacancies reported are reserved for differently abled candidates as per G.O.(P)No.7/2022/SJD dated 28.10.2022. 3. KS&SSR Part-II Rule 10 (a) (ii) is applicable. 4. Candidates who claim equivalent qualifications instead of qualification mentioned in the notification shall produce the relevant Government Order to prove the equivalency at the time of verification, then only such qualification shall be treated as equivalent to the prescribed qualification concerned. 5. In the case of difference in original caste/community claimed in the application and that entered in SSLC book, the candidate shall produce a Gazette notification in this regard, along with Non Creamy Layer Certificate/Caste Certificate at the time of certificate verification. 6. Candidates are advised to read the General Conditions in Part II of the notification carefully before applying. Applications submitted in violation of the General Conditions will be rejected. 7. Candidates who submit false claims of qualifications, experience etc. and are found to be ineligible, will be liable for disciplinary action as per Rule 22 of the KPSC Rules of Procedure.
