Direct Recruitment from among Ex-Servicemen only. Note:Women candidates are not eligible to apply.

18-50. Only candidates born between 02.01.1972 and 01.01.2004 (including both dates ) are eligible to apply for this post . KS & SSR Rule 10(c) regarding relaxation of upper age limit is not applicable.

1. 8th Standard Pass or Army Second Class or its equivalent qualification 2. Physical Fitness Height :165 cms Chest (Normal) : 80 cm Chest (On expansion) : 85 cm

Note: (1) KS & SSR Part-II Rule 10 (a) (ii) is applicable. (2) Minimum height and chest measurement shall be 160 cm and 75 cm repsectively for SC/ST candidates. The Minimum Chest expansion of 5 cm shall however be applicable to them also (3) Candidates who claim equivalent qualifications instead of qualification mentioned in the Notification shall produce the relevant Government Order/Equivalency Certificate (in the case if equivalency is mentioned in the notification) to prove the equivalency at the time of verification, then only such qualification shall be treated as equivalent to the prescribed qualification concerned. (4) In the case of difference in original caste/ community claimed in the application and that entered in SSLC book, the candidate shall produce a Gazette notification in this regard, along with Non Creamy Layer Certificate/ Community Certificate at the time of certificate verification.
