Method of appointment
Direct Recruitment (Only from candidates belonging to Muslim, OBC, SIUC Nadar communities). Note: Applications submitted by candidates other than those belonging to these communities will be rejected.
Age Limit
22-48; Candidates must be born between 02/01/1975 and 01/01/2001 (both dates included).
Qualifications
1. DM/DNB in Medical Gastroenterology / Gastroenterology. 2. Permanent Registration with Kerala State Medical Council (TCMC) or Council of Modern Medicine.
Notes
1. KS&SSR Part II Rule 10(a)(ii) is applicable. 2. Candidates who have claimed equivalent qualifications instead of the qualification mentioned in the notification shall produce the relevant Government Order to prove the equivalency at the time of verification. 3. Candidates appointed to the post shall serve in the Defence Services or in jobs related to Defence Services anywhere in India or abroad for the first 10 years (including training period) of their service. This mandatory military service is not applicable to those who have completed 45 years of age or those belonging to the differently-abled category. 4. Candidates must produce the Gazette notification regarding the change in name/caste if there is a difference between the name/caste in the application and the SSLC book. 5. Candidates must read the General Conditions in Part II of the Gazette notification. 6. Candidates who submit false information regarding educational qualification, experience, etc., will be liable for disciplinary action by the Kerala Public Service Commission as per Rule 22 of the Rules of Procedure.
