OR Group Diploma in Drawing (KGTE or MGTE) OR National Diploma in Applied Arts issued by the College of Fine Arts, Thiruvananthapuram OR Bachelor of Fine Arts preparatory Examination of the University of Kerala OR B.F.A Degree in Painting of the University of Kerala OR B.F.A Degree in Applied Arts of the University of Kerala OR B.F.A (condensed) Degree in Painting of the University of Kerala OR B.F.A. (Sculpture) of the University of Kerala OR Certificate course Examination in Commercial Art issued by the Government of Kerala OR National Diploma in Fine Arts (5 year course) awarded by the commissioner for Government Examinations/ Director of Technical Education OR Kerala Government Certificate Examination in Fine Arts 3 Must have passed the Kerala Teacher Eligibility Test (K-TET) for this post conducted by the Government of Kerala Exemption: Candidates who have qualified CTET/NET/SET/M.Phil/Ph.D/M.Ed. in the respective subjects are exempted from acquiring TET (G.O. (P) No. 145/16/G.Edn. Dated 30.08.2016 and G.O.(P)No.206/16/G.Edn. Dated 08.12.2016). Note:- 1) M Ed which is prescribed as a substitute qualification for K-TET need not be Subject specific ( GO (P) No. 15/2020/G Edn dated 09.10.2020) 2) M.Phil in the concerned subject be the one awarded by any of the Universities in Kerala or recognised as equivalent by any of the Universities in Kerala. 3) The Employees of the General Education Department who entered service before 31.03.2012 and have completed the prescribed period of service as Clerk /Typist/Attender/Office Attendant are exempted from acquiring K-TET qualification . NB:(i) Rule 10(a) (ii) of Part II of the KS&SSR will be applicable for this post. (ii) Applications of candidates who have claimed qualification equivalent to those prescribed in the Gazette Notification for the post will be considered equivalent only if they produce Government Orders to prove equivalency at the time of verification. 4 Candidates should have service not less than 5 years as clerk/Typist /Attender/Office Attendant in the General Education Department as on the date of application. Note : Documents to prove qualification, date of birth and service have to be produced as and when called for. Applicants should obtain a Service Certificate in the form prescribed below from the Head of Office/Department and produce as and when called for.

i) In the absence of suitable candidates, the vacancies set apart for By Transfer recruitment shall be filled up by the candidates from the Ranked List prepared for Direct recruitment. ii) The applicant should be an approved probationer/Full member of the Kerala General Education subordinate service as on the date of application. (5 years service as Clerk/Typist/Attender/Office Attendant in the General Education Department as on the date of application). (iii) Conventional type applications will be summarily rejected. Candidates shall apply online only by One Time Registration to www.keralapsc.gov.in. iv) Separate Ranked list will be prepared for Ernakulam and Thrissur districts in pursuance of this notification. The Ranked Lists thus prepared and published by the Commission, shall remain in force for a minimum period of one year, subject to the condition that the said list will continue to be in force till the minimum period of one year or till the expiry of three years whichever is earlier. Candidates will be advised for appointment against the aforesaid vacancies and also against the Vacancies ,If any, reported during the currency of the lists. In case no candidate is advised from the ranked list till the expiry of the period of three years, the duration of the ranked list shall be extended for a further period of one year or till at least one candidate is advised from the list whichever is earlier. v) Candidates should submit application for this post to the concerned District office and should note the name of that district against the relevant column of the online application. Applications should not be submitted to more than one district in response to this notification. If applications are submitted contrary to the above direction and if he/she is selected, his/her name will be removed from the Ranked List and disciplinary action will be taken against him/her. vi) The selection in pursuance of this notification will be made on a revenue district basis, subject to the special conditions laid down in G.O (Ms) No. 154/71/PD dated, 27.05.1971. A candidate advised for appointment in one revenue district from the Ranked List prepared is not eligible for transfer to another district unless he/she complete five years continuous service from the date of commencement of service in the former district. . Even if transfer is allowed after five years, it will be subject to the rules in G.O(MS) No.4/61/PD dated, 02.01.1961.But as per the G.O.(P)No.12/96 P&ARD date 16.3.1996 the conditions of 5 years Service is not applicable for transfer to the districts. Idukki, Wayanad and Kasaragod. The concession will be available only for getting transfer to these districts but not for getting transfer out of these districts. And these concession will be granted only once in the career of a Govt. Servant. Candidates already in Government service holding the same post in any one district are prohibited from applying again for this post, but they can apply to higher posts when notified. vii) The rules regarding the reservation of appointment contemplated in Article 14 to 17 in part II of the KS & SSR are not applicable to recruitment by transfer.
