Method of appointment
Direct Recruitment (from among Scheduled Caste and Scheduled Caste Converts to Christianity communities only). Note:- Applications submitted by candidates belonging to communities other than Scheduled Caste, Scheduled Caste Converts to Christianity will be summarily rejected. Individual rejection memo will not be sent to such candidates.
Age Limit
22-48; Only candidates born between 02.01.1975 and 01.01.2001 (both dates included) are eligible to apply for this post in respect of S.C.C.C. community. (Including the relaxation as per Para 2(i) of the General Conditions). 22-50; Only candidates born between 02.01.1973 and 01.01.2001 (both dates included) are eligible to apply for this post in respect of S.C. community. (Including the relaxation as per Para 2(i) of the General Conditions). Note:- Persons who have embraced Christianity from Scheduled Castes after attaining majority and their children are eligible for upper age limit up to 50 years. Such candidates should be born between 02.01.1973 and 01.01.2001 (both dates included). (Including the relaxation as per Para 2(i) of the General Conditions). (For other conditions regarding age relaxation please see Part II, Paragraph 2 of the General Conditions except Para 2(i)).
Qualifications
1. MD/DNB in Biochemistry 2. One year Research Senior Resident experience in Biochemistry in a NMC recognized Medical College after Post Graduate Degree. 3. Permanent Registration under Kerala State Medical Council (T.C.M.C.) or Council of Modern Medicine.
Notes
Note:- 1. Rule 10(a)ii of Part II of KS&SSR is applicable. 2. In addition to the qualifications prescribed in this notification, the qualifications recognized by executive orders or standing orders of Government as equivalent to a qualification specified for a post, in such a format along with such qualifications as produced at the time of commission and higher qualifications produced as basic qualifications shall be accepted. The Government Orders regarding equivalent/higher qualification shall be produced by the candidates at the time of inspection of the Commission. 3. Persons appointed to this post shall render Military Service in India or abroad or in Defence service connected with work related to defence for 4 years (including period of training) within the first 10 years of service. This compulsory military service is not applicable to those who have completed 45 years of age and those belonging to differently abled category.
