Direct recruitment from among PH (Locomotor disability or Cerebral palsy, Hearing Impairment, Low Vision) categories by special recruitment.

19-50. Only candidates born between 02.01.1964 and 01.01.1995 (both dates included) are eligible to apply for this post. Maximum age limit should not exceed 50 years.

1 B.Sc Degree in Engineering (Civil/Mechanical/Chemical) of the Kerala University or B.E Degree in (Civil/Mechanical/Chemical) of the Madras University or any other qualification recognized as equivalent there to. OR 2(a) Associate membership Diploma of the Institution of Engineers, India in Civil/Mechanical/Chemical Engineering or any other Diploma recognized as equivalent there to. OR (b) Pass in section A and B of the Associate Membership Examination of the Institution of Engineers, India in Civil/Mechanical/Chemical Engineering.

Note:- 1) The number of candidates to be included in the short list/probability list of the above post will be decided as per the availability of admitted applications. 2) The Ranked list prepared in pursuance of this notification is intended to make recruitment to the Backlog vacancy earmarked for the various categories and PH groups as per GO(p) No.8/2010/SWD dated.01.02.2010 and will remain in force for a maximum period of 3yrs subject to the condition that the Ranked list will cease to exist as and when candidates are advised and appointed against the above mentioned vacancy. Rules 14 to 17 of part II KS & SSR are not applicable to this selection. Candidates will be advised and appointed against the above mentioned vacancy and also against the Backlog vacancies, if any reported by the appointing authorities as earmarked in GO(p)No.8/10/SWD dated.01.02.10. Selection to the above mentioned vacancy will be made from among the Locomotor disability or Cerebral palsy, Hearing Impairment, Low Vision. (G.O.(P)No.74/2013/SJD dtd. 09.09.2013). 3) The Kerala Public Service Commission shall have the power to cancel the advice for appointment of any candidate to the above post, if it is subsequently found that such advice was made under some mistake. On such cancellation the appointing authority shall terminate the service of the candidate, provided that, the cancellation of advice for appointment by the Commission and subsequent termination of service of the candidate by the appointing authority shall be made within the period of probation or 240 days from the date of joining duty whichever is earlier. Note:- Application submitted by candidates other than those belonging to PH will be rejected. Individual rejection memo will not be sent to them. 8. Mode of submitting applications :- Candidates shall register as per 'ONE TIME REGISTRATION ‘ on the Official Website of Kerala Public Service Commission 'www.keralapsc.gov.in' for applying for the post. Candidates who have already registered shall apply by logging on to their profile using their User- ID and password. Candidates shall click on the 'Apply Now' button of the respective posts in the Notification link for applying for a post. No application fee is required. Candidates can view and have a print-out of the details in the profile by clicking the link Registration Card, if required. Candidates are responsible for the correctness of the personal information and secrecy of password. Candidates must ensure correctness of the information in their profile. They must quote the User-ID for further communication with the commission. Applications once submitted will be received as provisional and particulars shall not be deleted or altered after submission. Applications submitted not in accordance with the conditions of the notification will be summarily rejected. Documents to prove Qualification, community, age and disability certificate from the standing disability assessment board have to be produced as and when called for. 9. As per para 7 of GO(P) No.7/11/SWD dtd 24.01.2011, appropriate adjustment will be made, if necessary, in the ratio among different category, as and when the Govt. issued appropriate orders there to , in order to recoup the paucity in the share due to blind & deaf category during the period up to 2003. 11.
