Direct Recruitment (From candidates belonging to Ezhava/Thiyya/Billava and Scheduled Caste communities only).
Age Limit
22-48; Candidates must be born between 02/01/1975 and 01/01/2001 (both dates included) (including the relaxation as per para 2(i) of the General Conditions). 22-50; Candidates belonging to Scheduled Caste must be born between 02/01/1973 and 01/01/2001 (both dates included) (including the relaxation as per para 2(i) of the General Conditions). Note: The upper age limit shall in no case exceed 50 years, subject to the other conditions regarding age relaxation as per Part-2 of the General Conditions. Para 2(i) is excluded.
Qualifications
1. DM / DNB in Neonatology. 2. Permanent Registration with Kerala State Medical Council (TC Medical Council) or Council of Modern Medicine. Note: 1. KS&SSR Part II Rule 10(a)(ii) is applicable. 2. In addition to the qualifications prescribed in this notification, qualifications declared as equivalent by the Government through executive orders or standing orders, and higher qualifications which are based on the prescribed qualifications, shall be accepted. Government orders regarding equivalent/higher qualifications shall be produced by the candidates as and when required by the Commission. 3. Candidates appointed to this post shall undergo compulsory service for a period of four (4) years within the first ten (10) years of their service (including period of training) in the Defence Services or in jobs related to Defence Services anywhere in India or abroad. This compulsory defence service is not applicable to those who have completed 45 years of age and those belonging to the differently-abled category.
Notes
1. Applications from candidates not belonging to Ezhava/Thiyya/Billava and Scheduled Caste communities will be rejected. Individual rejection intimation will not be sent. 2. Candidates must read the General Conditions in Part II of the Gazette Notification. 3. Candidates who have Aadhar Card must provide it as an identity document in their profile. 4. Candidates must confirm their application through their One Time Registration profile for written/OMR/online examination. Only those who confirm will be able to download the Admission Ticket 15 days before the exam date. 5. Candidates must ensure that the caste/community claimed in the application matches the SSLC book. If there is a difference, a Non-Creamy Layer Certificate/Caste Certificate along with a Gazette notification regarding the name/caste change must be produced during document verification. 6. Any false claim regarding education, experience, etc., will lead to disciplinary action by the Kerala Public Service Commission as per Rule 22 of the Rules of Procedure, including debarment from applying for any post, cancellation of candidature, or dismissal from service if already appointed.
